Express Entry eligibility and profile help

Hi, I'm having trouble in regards to the eligibility stages before you set up a profile. I've sat my IELTS and got the required marks.

My skilled work experience in Canada is less than a year under NOC skill 0 as a supermarket grocery manager. I worked from 22/08/2013 - 02/08/2014 (with 1491.5 hours worked) on a working holiday visa, and being from New Zealand I could only go for 1 year.

I have 3 years skilled experience over the last 10 years. It'll be my girlfriend and I going. I don't have a valid job offer yet but the place I worked at in Canada has offered me one and are in the process of getting an LMIA (I've clicked yes before just to see what happens due to the funds part and it still says ineligible)

It says I'm not eligible to apply, I'm guessing due to the Canadian work experience?

It also says I can still set up a profile. Does this mean I just don't get as many points?

Does anyone also know if you can update information after you've submitted your profile? ie, if the LMIA gets approved, my girlfriend sits her IELTS.

Any help would be appreciated. If you have questions for more information let me know.

2. Have you assessed your foreign education credentials? You're ineligible under CEC and can only apply through FSWP and for that, ECA is mandatory.

Of course, these might not be very important AFTER you get your LMIA supported job offer but, for now, you'll have to create your EE profile under 'regular' FSWP with these factors in mind.

Yeah, I just realised my points were too low.

So can I still start up a profile even with lower points and edit it if the points end up getting over 67 or would it be better just to hold off and see if the LMIA comes through and get over 67 before proceeding?

Is there any problems with starting up a "regular" FSWP profile?

If you don't have 67 points, your profile is ineligible so no point in creating it at this point in time.

Thanks for the info. The only thing that kept making me ineligible seemed to be the Canadian work experience which was pretty much impossible for me to get since I couldn't stay for exactly a whole year due to the visa expiring. Almost like there's no wiggle room for that sort of thing
