Criminality is when they check obvious - meaning your PCC.
Security is when they check with Interpol, Europol or some local agencies. That one takes longer as those partners react in a different timing.

Security is more about terrorism, organised crime and such stuff (not all might be visible in your PCC).

Mine is ready to finalize from 29/11/2016, and not even my background check changed to IP,
( no way to track

They do update that due date accordingly. Would you order another notes, you would have seen that due date was updated.

I just received it on 3rd March, the last page just was generated on 29/11/2016. Obviously my case is left somewhere between Ottawa and paris
