My wife received a mail today from US consulate in Vancouver to prove her exit from Seattle-US on a specific date in 2014...I am the primary applicant and my wife has studied and worked in Vancouver for almost 3 years..so during her short visit in 2014 (on Canadian Visit Visa) she travelled from Seattle to Vancouver by road, and the mail received today specified that entries/exits by road are sometimes not documented correctly and hence they are requesting these proofs..she already provided the required evidence with entry/exit stamps on her PP....Just wondering if this mail has to do anything with our PR application...Does this mean our BG is in progress.. ?? some action on our profile(PNP-O :D) already :o

Raj, Someone told me about the validity of PCC from Passport Seva Center is for one year in India. But, PCC from local police commissioner is for 6 months. Is it right ?

Hello Raj, I agree but those who got PPRs are mainly FSW-I, FSW-O or CEC applicants. The one PNP-O who got PPR is has Warshaw VO.. I dont see any PNP-O from NDVO got PPR in any of the nearby AOR dates.. Correct me if I am wrong.

PNP-O applicants (NDVO) from April 2016 are still waiting so there is no surprise in November PNP-O applicants not getting PPR.

Nope. No such thing.

For the current country of residence, PCCs are considered valid for 6 months by IRCC.

Ok, So, If the 6 months period cross over it and we don't get PPR then would we need to get new PCC again or not?

Yes, outland applicants will get a re-medical request if the medical test expires.

How do I check the status of my medical examination after submission via e-medicals? :-X

Thanks for sharing. I'm not sure if these checks come under criminality (US-Canada have some information sharing deals) or under the background security checks. Anyway, I would recommend that she drafts a LOE and sends the proof as requested (and also mention that she had added a copy of the exit stamps in the e-APR).

From next time on, kindly ask the questions in the appropriate threads. Thanks.

You can check the status of your medical test in your myCIC account. Depending on where you did your meds, it can take from a couple of days to 2 + months to be set to "Passed".

Hi Raj, is your recommendation of LOE for Consulate or CIC ?
this request was not from CIC, it was from US Consulate in Vancouver.. Do you still recommend we send LOE with email from Consulate/exit stamps to CIC using web form ?
