Hi Nikhil,

You can fill the form either ways (electronically or manually) but in the end you will have to take a print and then sign it and also write the name in native script. Then scan and upload. That's what I did for our schedule A.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply buddy!!! +1 for you.

Did you get any updates since you submitted Sch A?

Just had a talk with a lady from CIC call center.

According to her my application is going smoothly and they are almost 50-60% done with the process.

She said 6 month processing time is general landmark. It could finish earlier than this.

I assume she was trying to say it will required 1 more month to finalized my application.

Overall it was a nice experience.

Thanks.

Please share cic call centre number I also want to call

Hi Guys, I found this really useful info in other post. Thought would be really useful for many of us that's why sharing it:

"There is a way for you to see your sent e-APR application. Once you are viewing the application status click on the "View submitted application" button. This will take you to see what files have been uploaded. At the top there is a button to "Start Again", click that (don't worry it won't affect your application) this will prompt you whether you want to continue or cancel. Click "Cancel".

You will be able to view your submitted forms after going through that process
."

I you're requested additional documents than this will help you go back to your application and see what exactly did you fill or if you made a mistake. May be you guys already know about this but still shared it because i found it helpful.

Thanks

Hello All,

I have a few questions regarding my application. Here are the dates that I was able to track:

ITA : Oct 20th 2016
AOR: Nov 17th 2016

Last Checked Today:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Review in Progress
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
Final decision Not Started

I'm surprised that I still haven't passed my Meds. Its been over 2 months.

I'm an Indian National living in the United States for over 7 years now. I wonder if its common for an applicant like me to have a delay in their Meds being passed.

Has anyone else seen something similar? Any advice/suggestions are very welcome.

Thank you.

Could you please provide the date when your BG changed to IP?

Hello everybody,

Today I called CIC for the status of my application.
So just to share the experience,
1. The executive said that my eligibility and security are still not passed and are under process. But she said that the application looks fine.
2. I asked whether my file has been transferred to NDVO. She said that both the offices work together on an application so it keeps moving between them. ( Something new for me). Both security and eligibility are going together.
3. My notes were generated on 23.12.2016 and the case analyst had noted that A11.2 seems to be met ready to finalise but since then till now my eligibility has not been passed.
4. She said that u will not hear anything on application before completion of 6 months as PNP outlands applications are not confirmed before 6 months.

Hence, I guess even though things are fine my case or infact case of PNP applicants would not see light before 6 months.

Hope this helps.
Thanks
4.

Thanks for sharing. #2 is new to me. #4, meh!

Ok, I was also going to apply for GCMS notes few days. but, Raj said, wait for at least 3 months. So, I did not do it. Now, after heard this news from you. I think, I should wait for some more time. Let me know, when you will apply for GCMS. I will do at the same time when you will. This is a long wait, 6 months will complete in mid may,2017.

Well, applying after 2.5 months is fine too. My intention is to check the status of A11.2/Eligibility. Finding out about Security is a long shot (It always says NOT STARTED) however, if you see s.15(1) on the page that talks about the security checks (and if a portion of that page is redacted), then it might mean that the security checks are done and application is awaiting a final review (This is according to eagle333 who seems to have a lot of experience with deciphering the content of GCMS notes).

Yes Raj even I was surprised, she said being an online application both the offices have access to my file.

What I understand from point #2, that LVO will share their findings or observations with CIO (or officials) in Canada. It is CIO only that decides what should be the next step based on the findings/observation/notes shared by LVO. This is could be also a strategy related to allocating the work to different VOs in world for faster processing.

But I am somewhat concern about point #4 as I was thinking that as OINP had delayed our application for so long, IRCC might process it faster than normal time. But, now the same wait will be there for the golden PPR mail (it's really mouth-watering for me whenever I read/write golden PPR mail ;D). I just really hope and pray that everything goes smooth for all the PNP applicants (no offence here to FSW or any other category applicants), especially OINP applicants, as we have waited for so long for nominations.

Surbhigurpreet, thanks a lot for sharing the summary for your conversation with the IRCC official.

In the eyes of IRCC, the wait doesn't even matter (Why would they worry about how long we waited?). What matters to them is processing majority (?) of EE applications within 6 months (irrespective of the stream). Let's just hope that all PNP-O applicants (and applicants under other streams) see our PPRs within the 6 month mark.

So, 3 months ago, around this time, I had submitted my e-APR and received my AOR. Halfway through! :) . Good luck and all the very best to all!
