Seniors, my aor is 10 jan 2017. Apologies for posting my query here but i am doing so since this thread is hyper active and very helpful. So kindly reply as you have gone through the same eperience just 2 months ago.

Yesterday my meds passed with no additional doc required appearing in review of aubmitted documents. Significantly, my background check status is UNCHANGED. Not required is still appearing instead of not started). Can you explain why as this is not the norm generally.

Members, do you know how long does it take to stamp a visa? Is it same/next day or longer? I have to travel to Warsaw Embassy to submit passports from other country and can't come back without a passport.

Well, technically, there is no "norm". The BG progresses differently for different people (based on the visa office and country of residence). Once you hit 2.5/3 months post AOR, you can order GCMS notes to check what is going on with your application.

Actually there's no "norm" or pattern , just be patient and wait. If the officer needs any other document, he will ask you to provide it, otherwise,you will have an answer once the processing of your application is completed
