This is common, I suppose. IRCC uses various channels to investigate and they do not want the public to know about what channels/nature of channels they use to investigate.
That makes sense

Hello fellow PR seekers! Got an update on my application process and some info.

Today I received a conformation of documents reception by Vienna VO (VVO) after I raised a CSE directed specifically towards them (once again thank you Raj for providing the link for direct VVO CSE; I would not have found it by myself) after being instructed by IRCC that they received my documents via general CSE but that I must also get in touch with VVO since my file is located there.

By the way, I see on this thread and the e-APR in Dec thread, that the general consensus is for PR applicant’s file to be transferred to local VO, the BGC status goes through the following changes NN>NS>NN.

However, this was not so in my case, since my BGC status never changed since AOR, i.e. it remains NN.

My time line is as follows:

ITA: Nov 2nd, 2016
Upfront eMedical: Nov 17th, 2016
e-APR: Dec 12th, 2016
AOR: Dec 12th, 2016
Medical Review Passed: Dec 17th, 2016
1st CSE raised: Dec 20th, 2016
2nd CSE raised: Jan 2nd, 2017
1st CSE confirmation: Jan 3rd, 2017
2nd CSE confirmation and instruction to contact VVO: Jan 9th, 2017
2nd CSE sent to VVO: Jan 11th, 2017
2nd CSE VVO confirmation: Jan 25th, 2017

Guys,

PR's processing luck doesn't favor me . Today I talked with the CIC agent, she confirmed me about a fault of my medical :(. But that was not by me or my medical problem. She said I am OK until the CIC asked me to do the medical again (if they want)!!! I went to the medical center and asked why they put Visitor status in my medical information sheet. She (the receptionist) said, they were doing that as a normal permanent residency application not as an Express Entry permanent residency application!!!! She said I didn't said her that I am under Express Entry!!! Guys what I should do to her? During my medical, she asked me the reason for medical? I said permanent residency. How do I know there are two if she don't ask me!!!! What a f**king experience. Now they are going to give a note to CIC about the misunderstanding. Do you guys know that Medical office is in Australia (how funny, we are in Canada and applied for Canadian PR, and the office is in Australia)!

Let's see how the things are now going!!!

i am no expert, but if i was in that unfortunate situation i would have probably done the following

ask your medical center if they can ammend the same application or would have to generate another number for you. Also if they can give you something in writing on the mistake and that they would correct it. Use that and raise a CSE explaining the situation ...i think this would add info to your file and if the medical center generates a newnumber for you and give you a copy you can upload that as well aspart of CSE.All the best

I got my GCMS notes yesterday (generated on 9/1/2016) and I found that my eligibility status is still (Not Started) knowing that:

-R10 done at CIO on 2/12/2016.
-A11.2 done at CIO on 15/12/2016 (RECOMMENDATION:-Appears to meet requirements"** Ready to Finalize).
-File transfer to Local Visa office (Cairo) on 17/12/2016.

I also noticed that another officer changed the eligibility status from (Met) on 15/12/2016 to (Not Started) on 17/12/2016! is this a normal step due to file transfer and the eligibility will be reviewed again?
And does anyone know information about Cairo visa office processing time?

Thanks

It might be either that or you might have missed to notice the BG changing from NN--> NS when medicals passed and later changing to NN a few days after meds passed. Either way, you are fine (The BG progresses differently for different people).

First, relax. Tell me what you see on your medical test report? Do you see 501, 502, 707 and 712 tests done? Secondly, you should clearly tell them you are there for Express Entry - Upfront medical exam (Hospital does medicals for a lot of streams and they do not necessarily have to understand the process of every stream available out there). Finally, as long as the required medical tests have been done (501,502,707 and 712) you should be good to go IMO. The Non-EDE/EDE category doesn't really matter (Ideally it does but apparently IRCC ignores this as long as the required tests are completed).

Interesting response on #Bellletstalk day! This is a supportive forum. No one knows anyone's else's full backstory, and NO ONE'S anxieties on ANY subject should EVER be dismissed as 'drama'.

This is not a supportive forum, but informative.
When you first engaged in this process you knew that it would take at least 6 months. Those cases when people receive their PPRs are more likely exceptions rather than the new rule. So there is no reason to dramatize anything.

I have no goal to insult anyone, simply this false sense of entitlement really amazes me. Just remember that no one from CIC owes you anything. YOU are asking THEM to let YOU in THEIR country as a permanent resident. You follow the procedures and have to wait for their decision.

I'm checking my profile several times per day as well (as all of us do) so you are not alone worrying about your future. However, no one else is freaking out that much...

P.S. Regarding the "full story": No one here is immigrating from the better life in their own country. So everyone here HAS a story.
