Yes, A background check is needed changed to In Progress.

Application/profile status - Open
Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents - No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
A background check is needed - In Progress
Final decision - Not Started

So your background check started before your medicals. I thought medicals are first.

Expect a medical status change or an email with schedule-4 or address history requirement.

Good luck !

I did the same. But just worrying about the other addresses the i mentioned in my personal history.

I mentioned my other addresses in the personal history. The PCC from PSK/Consulate is address agnostic so it's valid for entire India

Well I already submitted the Schedule 4 along with my PNP Certificate as my LOE during my e-APR submission. Address History was part of the questionnaire so not sure why they would need it again.

Yea I am not sure what the order is for the process. I had my Medical done on November 21st 2016 and the Physician's office informed me that the info was uploaded on November 28th 2016.

Have you lived at more than one addresses in India?? if yes, have you declared the same in your personal history?
Yes, I entered all the addresses for past 10 years in personal history. But my Indian PCC doesn't have ANY address on it.

Although I have received my COPR the online status has not changed. The final decision should have ideally changed. Does anyone know why?

COPR and Passport Requested is one and the same. The COPR email contained the passport submission process thru VFS. All this has already happened on 6th, but until now the status in the profile still shows as Not Started.

You are actually wrong at this point.

The email that you got is called Ready for Visa or Passport Request Email (PPR).

On the other hand, COPR is confirmation of Permanenet Residence. It is a document along with a visa stamped in your passport that you have to produce at the immigration counter at Canadian Airport. It is signed by the immigration officer stamping your passport and a copy of it is given to you for your records which you must keep till you get Canadian passport and the other copy is kept by the immigration officer.

Your status will change when LVO has received your passport and when it is stamped and dispatched back to you, Only then the status of your file will be changed to Approved and Closed.

Hope this helps !

Hello,

My medical changed to Passed on 12/8/16 - When you have a moment please update the document.

Thank you.

i am from USA with APR 14th nov, same as yours. MY medical is still "not needed". What time did your status change to passed? Also did it change from not needed to passed, or from NN -> In progress -> Passed?

Local PCC will work if it mentions ALL the addresses you have lived in the country. For instance, if you have lived in 10 different addresses throughout India and you arrange PCC(s) that mention all the 10 addresses, then that will work. However, if you have lived in 10 addresses and your PCC shows only 4 of them, it is very likely that the application will be rejected.

In short, your PCC(s) should either mention ALL the addresses you have lived or mention no address at all. Anything in between is a call for trouble IMO.
Ok. Now I got. Thankyou Raj
