How long does it take for PPR after documents are sent to LVO... do people usually track date their file leaves Ottawa?
Does forwarding to LVO mean that processing is done in Ottawa and only additional background checks are ongoing for finalizing ?

That depends on which VO it is sent to and also the checking that is done case-by-case. There is no standard time as such. You might want to order GCMS notes to see what's going on with your application!

Generally, R10, A11.2, Criminality and Medicals are checked and set to PASS at CIO or CPC-O. Your "security" is almost always assigned to RC-6262 (This is the code for Ottawa office). After that, the file is transferred to the Local Visa Office.

I thought of ordering GCMS notes but my only fear is giving authority to someone I dont know to do whatever he wants with my application after all of this..

Hello everyone,

Does anybody have and idea how long security takes to pass. My GCMS says: Meds passed, Criminality passed, Eligibility Recommend passed, Security not started as of Feb 14. My Bg check is IP since Feb 22, 2017. Any ideas.
