While most of you must have got your PR or must be very close to getting it. One of the best tools which everyone is aware of is GCMS notes, the only accurate way to predict what is happening with your application. Some of you know me and some of you have approached me to help you with answering your questions. I request that when you apply for GCMS next, consider ordering from them from https://www.getgcms.com[/b]]https://www.getgcms.com. GET GCMS is accepting payments in INR along with CAD and Alipay.

If you have GCMS related questions - post them https://goo.gl/6C1RMI

Hi Legalfalcon,
Your support and dedication to helping applicants is very much appreciated. You helped me alot since I started this process and I am sure I will come back to you with more questions. Thank you and really thank you...

On quick question, do you think that there are certain streams that are processed faster than other streams? Like PNP-O are not given priority or so? is there any stats on applications that run beyond 6 months?

Usually the PNPs are the fastest to get the PPR, followed by FSW. But this might not be true in all cases, at the end it all depends on your application, country of citizenship, education, job, number of people on the application. But, yes generally specking, PNPs do get faster processing.

Sitting at 114 days and wow, this wait has been tough.

eAOR : December 3rd 2016
Meds Pass : January 31st 2017
Doc Request (CELPIP) : Feb 1st 2017
BG IP (1st Time) : Feb 1st 2017

Nothing since then. I hope PPR arrives in my inbox soon as my IEC WP is expiring in 4 months!

Hi Richardisfamous,

Just want to share my own experience.

I m sure you are not the only one in waiting line, with 98 days on board my Timelines are as follows :

eAOR : December 22nd 2016
Meds Pass : February 8th 2017
BG IP (1st Time) : Feb 8th 2017
BG IP (2nd Time) : Feb 27th, 2017

Since Feb 27th no updates no ppr no add doc request, nothing. I have contacted CIC and receive the following response:

"Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required."

now you may get a clue how long would it take to PPR.

What is that supposed to mean?
Outside their posted times means it will be more than 6 months???

How did you contact Cic? Did you use a webform? Thought they dont respond to application status related queries before 6 month normal processing time has elapsed

LOL,
like a lotery, when they are answering you, they will pick randomly one generic mail. and thats it. Yours is for 6+ months applications.
;D

My timeline is also... similar to yours..
How did you come to know about BG1 and BG2? I can just see Background check.
Also how did you contact CIC? Any email id? or Case processing inquiry?

Guys

I got this reply today

Please note that your application is being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.

My timeline is

AOR - 7/01/2017
Medical pass - 17/03/2017
RCMP Request - 17/03/2017
RCMP Submitted - 24/03/2017
RPRF - Not paid upfront

Federal Skilled Trade Worker (Inland), background checks are in progress since 17 March as well.I personally do not think these replies from CPC-CTD-Ottawa are totally worthless.

Please give your comment on my application's status?

Probably ...
yours is PNP stream which is still under normal timelines. Mine is CEC the top of the chart, not so many of the CEC applicants left

Contacted my VO through email.
