Hi frankiefun, thanks for your insights.
- There was no question either during EE profile creation or ITA response which said "do you have any other application in process"
- I am yet to decline the ITA, and would most probably wait for my PPR before doing so.
- The GCMS part seems a little scary, but then again, I got my RPRF request on 15th march. The first few lines were as follows:

"This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose."

I am hoping (and praying) that this means it would go on to the next step which is PPR. Again, thanks for your views. I wish CIC had made it amply clear that couples should not have applications repeat even if it means different primary and secondary applicant in different profiles.

Wish us luck :)

Hi

Did it specify in the message that in order to get PPR you need to pay for RFPR?

That is obvious, isnt it? Or am i missing something?

"Before we can approve your application, we require payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if applicable.
If you delay the payment of the RPRF, your security or medical results may expire, which would delay the issuance of your visas. We therefore encourage you to pay the RPRF as soon as possible,"

I am now going to slot myself within these statistics :)

My current days elapsed since AoR is 76.

December batch max waiting is 97 days (21 days more for me to go) - so 3 weeks
Last 10 days PPR max waiting is 89 days (13 ~14 days more for me to go) - so 2 weeks

Either way I am hoping to get a PPR on either 31st of March (Friday) or 7th of April (Friday).

Earlier would call for a celebration :) :)

But I also got another statistic that a person who had paid their RPRF on 18th February, still has not heard from CIC - so, tough call!!

Passports arrived today!!
Indeed, the issuance date was 13 march: the day the status changed from "in progress" to "approved" on MY CIC.
So, our timeline is:
nov 2nd: ITA
Dec 3rd: EAPR & AOR
Dec 6th: meds passed
Feb 23: PPR by email from VO, MY CIC changed BG from not started to in progress
March 13th: CIC changed from BG in progress to final decision made, approved.
March 17th: passports arrive by mail.
April 26: landing (not yet, but we got the tickets!)

Wish speed and sucess to all who are waiting!
It seems CIC is processing EE aplications faster now.
