hi buddy, may i ask how many fingers does the fingerprint impression required??the Canada official fingerprint i applied for EE are thumb and index only? thx!

I did the fingerprints for ALL fingers of the 2 hands and the guy from the Singapore embassy who did my fingerprints told me that these have to be done very properly coz it could be rejected if SPF judges that the fingerprints are not done correctly ...

My visa office is CPC Ottawa.

got ADR for IMM5562E travel info on March 5th, 2017 and submitted on March 7th, 2017.

March 8th, 2017 got ADR for RCMP replacement, even though I had submitted upfront. Now waiting for New RCMP report.

Any idea how long it may take to get PPR after I submit my RCMP or what stage I am right now?

Please advice.

Hi,

Wondering how long after submission of RCMP check, PPR was issued.
I submitted by RCMP on 7th March and still the background check is "In Progress".
Is anyone at the same stage as mine?

The officer requested for additional documents, which I had submitted on monday, and then my BGC went to IP yesterday. My medicals are yet to be passed. I'm kind of worried, do you guys had the same status ?

Quick question - since I have another profile (where I am the primary applicant), would CIC take more time to decide my case? I.E. would this weigh negatively in my case? Should I reject the ITA right away?

AFAIK (I learnt this shortform from Raj ;D) You should have one application at the time of your application to CIC. This is in line with your answer to the question when applying - Do you have any other application in process - To which i assume you answered , No.

So my submission would be that you decline this new ITA. BTW i recently ordered GCMS notes and can confirm to you that the Program Assistant specifically makes a mention as this: No trace in GCMS/FOSS other than present application and this statement is repeated for every member of the family. Of course in my case, i have no other application other than the current one, hence i have no idea what the repercussion will be if i did. One thing is sure though, this is an important check and is documented.

It is PPR guys. So releived and happy I feel now.
Got the golden mail just now.
My background check never changed at all.
After PPR mail, now background status is in progress.
