Congratulations to all the PPRs! You have waited so long for medical to pass, but the PPR have not had you waited! Best wishes! :P

Congratulations to all the PPRs. This is amazing. The inertia in our group is finally come down. Hope to see this as a weekly routine moving forward.

Cheers!

R10 is a completeness check where they make sure all of your documents are there, if any DOC is missing (like PCC or Marriage Cert) then they'll cancel you file. Here they'll look at you travel and address history also to determine what PCCs you needed to provide and if one is not there they will also cancel you file.

Criminality is basically checking all of you PCC, is there is no trace then they pass it. In simple cases (where no trace is found) this is usually done along with R10 check above so you'll pass your R10 and criminality at the same time.

A11.2 is the Eligibility assessment - here they will analyze your documents to make sure you rightly deserve all the points you've claimed (right number or years WE, duties match NOC, etc.)! Once that's done they'll make sure your CRS score (minus what ever points they MAY have disqualified you from) was above the cut off. If all is ok you get a recommend pass at the CIO. Then once you file goes to the LVO the officer there will recheck this and if he agrees you'll pass eligibility.

Good day everyone,

This forum has been so helpful, thank you to everyone that keeps contributing to its success.

I reside in Nigeria and made application for my PR since December last year. There has been no significat change except for medicals. Reading other peope's testimonies got me worried as I submitted way before some of the PPR testimonies, although these people reside in a different country.

My question is, is there a sub-forum distinguished by country so im able to compare myslef with people in similar situation as mine. Below is my timeline:

EE profile created: Aug 26, 2016
ITA: Nov 9, 2016
PR APPLICATION: Dec 25, 2016
AOR: Dec 27, 2016
Medicals Passed: Jan 5, 2017

Thank you

Go to the tracker - MYIMMITRACKER - see my signature for details... There you can see many cases from many countries including Nigeria. I suggest you register yourself on teh tracker and create you case so that others may follow you too.

Please don't worry, 6 months is the processing time for most of the applications. I too have exactly same timelines as yours except the country of residence is India

Hi All,

Been a spectator on this group till now. Congratulations to all those who have got PPRs! Following this group is very comforting as we wait for PPRs.

My timeline:

e-APR: 8th Dec 2016
AOR: 9th Dec 2016
Medicals Passed: 10th Dec 2016
Category: FSW-O
Visa Office: New Delhi (I guess as I'm in India)
BG was NN before the status language changed
Dependant: 1

Good to see NDVO also coming into action with the recent PPRs. Hoping for the best soon!

Cheers!!

Hi everyone

I got my Passport request this morning

ITA - 19 October 2016
AOR - 2 December 2016
Medical Passed - 4 December 2016
NOC - 1112
PPR - 9 March 2017
Primary Office mentioned as Ottawa

Thanks everyone for their help

I also received my passport request too this morning at 5:40AM!! :D

What a relief and such a great feeling...

My NOC code, category, ITA date, Primary office is the same as that of priyan687. My AOR date was 5th Dec'16 and medicals were passed on 13th Dec'16.

BG never changed to "In-progress" but who cares as long as we are getting PP requests ;D

Once again, I thank all the members on this forum for sharing their valuable inputs and wisdom that guided us all in reaching this milestone!! Special mention fro my end for Raj as his posts were very clear and helped me keep my anxiety levels in control.

Thanks

Where is my PPR i have similar timeline as everyone else who got PPR yesterday and today, but still nothing. I'm paranoid now

As you know cic medical is valid for 12months however you must land before your medical expired. That's why all PR visa are always dated to expire on the day your medical would expire. The officer handling your file knew yours would expire before you get Ppr or before you receive your passport back from vfs or before you'll land. Hence there's need for you to do another medical.
That's why applicants have different timeline to land after getting their PR because is a function of when their medical will expire.

Hi all,

I am a silent reader of this forum, facing certain medical examination issue.

I had submitted my documents on 16th Dec, AOR received on 17th and Medical status changed to passed within a week. Now on 9th March, I received a mail asking me to take the medical examination stating the following:

These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage
where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.
IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

Now, my status of "Review of Medical Results" Says "You Passed the medical exam" so it is a bit confusing if there is a problem with my application that I don't know about.

My previous medical exam was dully submitted on 16th Dec'16 and the date of examination was 9th April 16 so it was well within its validity.

Can someone please suggest what should I do next, undertake a new medical exam or resubmit/email the old medical exam details? And if I should submit old details then where? Personally, I am fit and have no known medical issues, moreover the test was taken in April last year so had there been something wrong with me medically I would have come to know about it by now therefore I doubt this issue has arisen because I failed my last medical exam

Appreciate your time and responses.

Thanks
