Congrats all the others who have received PPR.

Can you please share if I need to submit old passport + new passport as well?
Also, should i wait for the hard copy of the letter to be sent to my address or I can take print of the email sent by CPC and attach it with my passport?

Thanks
JW8

I read this from a message in a WhatsApp group, maybe helpful to you:
"If you or any of your accompanying family members currently holds a valid temporary resident visa, study permit, or work permit for Canada in an expired passport, please submit the expired password with your current passport"

WOW, congrats everyone who got PPR yesterday or early today in the past hour.
So another round of PPR rain for Dec apps in Ottawa...
This is good news, guess it's very soon for Jan apps to get a huge wave of PPRs!

Hi all,

I am a silent reader of this forum, facing certain medical examination issue.

I had submitted my documents on 16th Dec, AOR received on 17th and Medical status changed to passed within a week. Now on 9th March, I received a mail asking me to take the medical examination stating the following:

These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage
where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.
IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

Now, my status of "Review of Medical Results" Says "You Passed the medical exam" so it is a bit confusing if there is a problem with my application that I don't know about.

My previous medical exam was dully submitted on 16th Dec'16 and the date of examination was 9th April 16 so it was well within its validity.

Can someone please suggest what should I do next, undertake a new medical exam or resubmit/email the old medical exam details? And if I should submit old details then where? Personally, I am fit and have no known medical issues, moreover the test was taken in April last year so had there been something wrong with me medically I would have come to know about it by now therefore I doubt this issue has arisen because I failed my last medical exam

Appreciate your time and responses.

Thanks

It is because your medicals will expire on April 9th and you will not be able to do the landing before. Your medicals must be valid at the time of landing. Hence they are asking you to redo them.
