Hi,

New entrant here. We received a request for IMM5562 today. Now, we gave all the information during the EE profile submission itself, why the duplicate info requested in 5562? Does it mean that the way I entered the data in the first place is wrong? I am an Indian citizen currently in US on a visa.

My details
EE Profile: FSW-O
AOR: 11/DEC/16
Medicals passed 3/MAR/16
Hi mate, I am exactly on the same boat with you, get request for IMM5562 today.

I am PNP-I
AOR: 13/DEC/16
Medicals passed and background IP: 3/MAR/17

Not sure Iman. I feel there is some confusion.

Earlier we knew for sure that NN was the default state. This usually was followed by NS. I interpret this as follows:

- Not needed is the status till the preceding steps are incomplete.
- Once the preceding steps are complete, the systems says - hey now I need BGC and it changes the flag from NN to NS. Why? Because now it is NEEDED but it hasnt started.

This alone now needs to viewed from the current status:

Which one do you think comes first? (The chicken or the egg ;) Look the below statements in isolation. What is logically the first one?

- Your Application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
- Not Applicable

Unless we have some cases to validate our assumption, we should not disturb the spreadsheet.

BTW, who are the editors of the sheet as on date? We need to number the records and split it up and ensure we have upto date info on this.

My status was this 2 days ago: Your Application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check. (this was NS)

Now it is to the next step : We are running background check or background check is in progress (this is IP)

Got PPR request on feb 27th but read the email today that is 8th march

they told me to send my Passport to Ottawa VO but as i m in india, i sent ottawa office my change of address update which they updated already as i got an email from them.

But now i am confused where should i send my Passport to whether India or Ottawa? i have exact 19 days on hand to send my Passport to wherever.

Should i just send to Ottawa without waiting for their response?

can someone please help..

I had bg status like this yesterday - Your Application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check

Today it turned to Not Applicable

Guys..

After rejection for my application I recreated new express entry profile. My new EE profile application status shows "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.". Should I consider this as "Open". Is my application status is "Open". Is it going to change to Open or will it be like this?

Please help

yes.. you're good to go.. contact OINP

This is the equivalent of NS>NN... Good luck and quick PPR!

Friends,

Today at 5:40am in the morning I received an email in my inbox from cpco final request with subject "Ready for visa".

When I checked my account, it shows we are processing your background check and we will reach out if there is any information needed.

Last I checked my account was at 1 am so was shocked and happy when I checked it as soon as I got up :-)

My primary office shows CPC-Ottawa.

While I believe I received the golden email, it's still difficult to trust myself after waiting and no update on my application since 15 Dec ( after medical pass).

Since the email was sent on 8th March Canadian time, I would take it as Woman's day gift from CPC :-)

Thank you all the seniors on this forum to guide me with the process.

PS: FSWO AOR 4 Dec 2016 from India.

Cheers,
JW8
