Canada needs to develop other cities and promote them - that itself will create jobs. Like in India now, we are focussing on tier 3 cities and ample jobs are being created there. Canada also needs to adopt some manufacturing facilities for lets say pharma, electronics, FMCG etc. From what I read, they import heavily from USA. And weather cannot be the only deterrent. Look at the Scandinavian countries - they are doing extremely well. Sweden is an excellent example.

All I am saying is that continue your immigration numbers - heck even increase them. Populous countries add more people in them in perhaps 6 months! But with increase in immigration ensure that there is a way to handle these people. Do some analysis on the NOC of PRs issued - publish the data. Incentivize companies to create jobs in the missing codes etc.

The answer of your first question is, YES, now your file had been transferred from Ottawa to NDVO and if you want to send any additional document to be attached with your file, the safest option is to raise a CSE to NDVO with your attached documents (in your case, color scan of PCC). For NDVO CSE link, please click : Here

In addition, it can be expected that your R10 is complete since your file is with NDVO but nothing could be said about A11.2. Have you paid your RPRF upfront? Did you get any additional document request from Ottawa? These info matters to know your file status.

I did use the link provided by fahad04 in the above post to raise a new CSE on New Delhi VO in order to provide them colored copy of my PCC and PCC stamp. However, unlike last time when I had raised a CSE on Ottawa VO (i think it was Ottawa but I am not sure), I had received immediate automated acknowledgement on my registered e-mail id but I did not receive a similar automated acknowledgement of e-mail yesterday when I raised a CSE on Delhi VO.

Is it normal not to receive an automated acknowledgement while raising a CSE on New Delhi VO? What can be the reason for this variation? Should I consider re-submitting the CSE with relevant documents. I don't have any kind of assurance to know if New Delhi VO has even received my CSE along with the document that I had uploaded. Kindly suggest what should I do?

We never did get that mid-year report for 2016, did we? It is hard for us to see the big picture unless IRCC publishes these reports. Eagerly waiting to look at the year-end report for 2016.

Well said Vivek ... However that should not be achieved by putting restrictions on these big cities but providing greater incentives of bringing up numbers in smaller cities such as lower tax regimes and creation of not just manufacturing but also services and automation industries there.

No movement after that, its been around 40 days with No progress, even the medical status is not updated.

I called CIC yesterday (25th Jan) and inquired about my UCI number as I mailed them a long time back and haven't received any revert yet. Thankfully after all the security questions answering the call center executive informed me that my file has moved to the local VO (NDVO IN MY CASE) and any requests regarding UCI, CSE etc needs to be sent to them for reverts.

I was happy to know my file is with NDVO and all the preliminary checks by CIO is over - now the wait begins for BG to go into IP.

I called from outside Canada so I dialed - +1 613-944-4000. If you are calling from Canada - you can dial - 1888-242-2100.

But as I see your signature - your BG is in IP. Definitely your profile is with local VO of your or any other VO who has started processing it - you are way ahead man - dont worry!

Hi moderator1983, just wanted to check with you if you received any automated acknowledgement on your registered e-mail id from NDVO when you raise a CSE with them? I want to know as I had raised one a couple of weeks back with Ottawa VO from where I instantly received an automated acknowledgement of my CSE stating that they would respond within 10 working days which they did. However, in their communication, they asked me to share the documents with NDVO which I did by raising another CSE but this time, I did not receive any automated acknowledgement e-mail on my registered e-mail ID.

Could you please confirm if you received one when you raised a CSE on NDVO?
