Is it true that PNP applicants receive early PR than regular applicants? One of my friend has told me this. He said average time for PNP class is 2-3 months. Please share your thoughts friends.
Did you friend get PNP and get PR within 2-3 months?

On BCPNP website it clearly says that EEBC applicants will receive priority at federal stage. If that's the case, then pnp applicants should receive their pr within 2-3months since the average processing time for CEC and FSW is around 3-4 months according to IRCC's report. However I haven't seen any updates for my application yet since it was submitted, so I really doubt if it is true.

Yes I did see the BCPNP website said "Under the Express Entry BC stream, nominees receive priority processing of their federal permanent residence application".

I guess there may be some delay in Christmas or New Year. Let's be patient and wait.

I got my BCPNP within a month. I hope I will have that speed at federal stage ... lol

The normal processing time is 6 months from the date of AOR. Processing time depends on a LOT of variables and I don't think there would be any preference for a particular province.

I believe there are several things affecting the wait time and there is no standard wait time...

It may depend on following stuff

1 - Visa office
2 - Visa officer 8)
3 - At times the documents are difficult to understand or there are too many of them to be reviewed- officer has to go through LOE etc to figure out what is goin on... And there may be some with clear 1 bank account as pof, 1 work experience and no travel history (or anything like that).. In short nothing much to check. So different application - different time taken.
4 - Something popped up in their background check. May not be the applicant but similar name - that can delay.
5 - Job offer ready vs PNP vs FSW - There may be some discrimination in these three categories - just we cannot conclude cause this is not the only point.
6 - Many more, u can suggest...

In short, it depends on individual case with so many factors affecting the time taken..
