I do not have any medical history. But my wife was adivsed to undergo additional medical tests to clarify the scar that appeared on her chest xray. She took the additional tests on Dec 5th. We expected this delay in the medical results. But the fact that they have looked at my application and provided an update makes me happy.
P.S : My wife is not going to accompany me to Canada. She is not part of the application.

Was it the clinic or CIC that informed you of the additional tests requirement?

Even if your wife isn't going to accompany you, since you're submitting her medical tests I believe CIC will treat her as if she may one day join you- even if that may never happen.

Joining this thread and happy new year to all of you.

We received our AOR on 31st December.

We received a mail from CIC requesting us to take the medical tests. As per the rules all the dependants must undergo medicals even though not accompanying.

When did you get eAPR/AOR?

Is "different processing procedures" good or bad?

Let's keep in touch!
I submitted on Dec 22, and got AOR on the same day.
I'm not very sure if it's good or bad, but as what I have seen, bcpnp applicants do not really receive too much priority at federal stage. Anyway, lets be patient and wish for the best results to all of us.

That's a good sign that things are moving along with your application. I don't know what happens when the principal applicant passes their medical but a (non-accompanying) dependant does not. If your dependant has a serious medical condition you may want to check this with experts.

Unfortunately, if the dependent is inadmissible, the application is refused AFAIK.

Yes. That makes complete sense as they are the immediate family and most probably will be sponsored by the primary applicant in future. Fingers crossed and hoping everything goes well for us.

Happy new year dear members!

I am humbly seeking your expert guidance with the following:

Background:
In my EE work experience section, i entered the only 3 jobs I have ever had - one for 5 years (5231), one for 4 years (NOC 1111) and my current job for 1 year (NOC 1111). I specified my primary occupation to be NOC 1111.

What i want to do:
I got my ITA on december 22, 2016. I only want my APR to be based on my former job for 4 (NOC 1111). Hence, in filling out my PR form, i want to only mention the said job in my work experience, while putting the other two in my personal history (so i will only need to get a full reference for my job for 4 years). Also, i want to change my current job (1 year exp) from NOC 1111 to NOC 0111.

Question:
Would the above action be ok to do? or would my APR be rejected or classified as a misrepresentation? also should i upload any supporting information for two jobs in my personal history?

Thanks much!
Mike

Is it true that PNP applicants receive early PR than regular applicants? One of my friend has told me this. He said average time for PNP class is 2-3 months. Please share your thoughts friends.
