Dear Andy and viveks,
I'm the owner of the spreadsheet and skdubai helps me to maintain it. I know there would be some times that none of us could update the sheet and I hope you excuse me for the delays. However, I've seen the entries up to date whenever I came to made the changes after a day or two. Many thanks to skdubai for helping.

Yes Iman, I know you do great job, its people, we have no way reminding them - unless they come here and tell you to update.

The core difference is that tracker will identify those who does not update within certain period of time, and then send the reminder to update - therefore, i can say that up 90% will update the tracker.

I can make you admin of the tracker too - so you can update if required.

Just let me know.

P.S we can migrate all the data from googlesheet too.

P.S.S Whats wrong with the forum today... its down 50% of time.

I can also update the statuses as per your instructions - let just other to share their views.

Alternatively I can create an explanation window for statuses - saying:

In Progress: File is with VO for sure and they have begun work on the BGC for the file.
Not Started: File has been dispatched to VO from Ottawa but is yet to be acknowledged by the VO personnel.
Not Needed: The workflow has not moved ahead, say after medicals

With all the collective wisdom, it should be easy to decipher these status codes. After all, behind scenes it is a piece of code which is doing the status changes.

My best guess in reverse order:

In Progress: File is with VO for sure and they have begun work on the BGC for the file.
Not Started: File has been dispatched to VO from Ottawa but is yet to be acknowledged by the VO personnel.
Not Needed: The workflow has not moved ahead, say after medicals

The flaw with the above model is twofold:

- Status of R10 and A11 checks are not directly map-able to the above status changes
- recursive status changes such as NN > NS and back to NN and others like this do not follow a logical order.

Furthermore someone pointed out to me that since my application is moving fast, it could be another VO for me despite me being in India. (Not NDVO that is).

Its interesting to unearth CIC's methods. Last, I feel pissed that their online status tracker doesnt work post AoR.

My BG is "NS" at present, and I received a request for additional doc a few days ago probably from Ottawa. So for the NS stage, cases may still stay with Ottawa. But when it changes back to NN, it may have been dispatched to LVO. It's just my two cents.

Yes, but if there was no additional documents request then the file would be already going to your LVO. So estimation might not be bad at all.

Hopefully, my case would go to HKVO soon. HKVO has been fast in processing FSW applicants recently, with two late-november-AOR applicants receiving PPR in early-January for about 40 days!

On Jan 05 ------>My Medical passed with change in BGC from NN to NS
Changed again Then from NS to NN on JAN 10

But on CIC call centre they told file is still at CIO on Jan 18


No further change in BGC status. neither RPRF request nor any Additional Doc request

No idea when they send to LVO...as of now they didnt sent

It is better to use the December AOR Tracker - you can then get the signature which will be updated automatically when you update your case.

The google doc is never updated by 75% of users.

ok, will do. Although the Tracker doesn't really show the outland/inland situation, not for everyone, any way we can change this ?

No Andy. These are not accurate, more of a theory. Lets not add them to the tracker at the moment. COuld you tell me when analytics is enabled for a month tracker? I tried analytics but i get a message that there are none available for the given tracker.

Which number did you call CIC and what was your approach to check the status? CIO is Ottawa office?
