Hi,

I completed and submitted my e-APR on Friday December 2nd.

Since then I have only received an email on my CIC account that, your application has been received and says that my application status is open and review of eligibility is under progress, everything else is either not needed at this time or not started.

What is the next step ?

When do you expect to get an AOR ?

you get your aor once you have submitted the application max 24 hrs... i got mine in less than 30 mins

The email you got is AOR itself.

Okay the document in the email says,

This letter confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada was received by Immigration,
Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through your account on

We created a file for your application. The application number is located in the upper right-hand corner of this
letter. You must quote this application number each time you contact us.
We are reviewing your application to determine if it meets the requirements of a complete application according
to Section 10 of the .
If it does not meet the requirements of this section:
• we will reject your application as incomplete, and
• refund any fees paid.

Is this the AOR ?

I have already received my BCPNP nomination and have filed for my PR application online which needs some additional documents like PCC from certain countries that needs a request letter from IRCC.
Since I am living outside of Canada, I wanted to check, if I can apply for Work Permit in the meantime.
What is the procedure to apply for work permit online, with the BCPNP nomination and work permit support letter that I have received?

If you are outside Canada you could either apply for a work permit if you have a job offer from an employer or the Post graduate work permit (if you completed a masters/bachelors within the past 90 days)
