Hey,
Nursing is quite a challenge in getting transfer of license/ registration in Canada. WES ok'ed my degree but now going through NNAS to get assessed again then apply to the provincial bodies.
What's the timeline for ICAS?

You don't have to do them before reaching. But to secure a job offer to reach you would need to. The process takes time... If your primary language is not English then you need academic IELTS (even though you would have done general for EE). You would have to request all transcripts and course outlines from your school sent directly to them, as well as documents confirming your license in your country and documents from your workplace all sent to them from the institutions. Then you send proof of identity documents. They say after a complete application (when all documents are received and money paid USD650) they take ~2months. It will take longer though because it takes 15 business days to move a document they have received from the mail room to verify it and update your application... So be prepared for the long haul.

Gud day all,

Please clarify is it WES or NNAS or both that will do the assessment of my credential being a registered nurse in our home country - Nigeria.
