"One Journey Ends. The other awaits"

Its quite ironic that my first on this thread concludes with the (hopefully) last step in this over-drawn, emotionally exhausting and at the same time immensely rewarding experience!

Yes, I am one of those forum members who din't go to sleep without looking at the latest updates in this thread but never had anything really constructive to add. Sincere apologies for that.

However, now that i have reached the other side of this battle :), I can vouch for a fact that I couldn't have managed to stay sane during this 5-month journey without active updates and messages by the seniors on this forum and all the good people who constantly updated their signature lines.

Seeing those messages gave me hope, allowed me to calculate/ predict my own file progress and follow-up with my representative to ensure that my application moves smoothly.

Finally, PPR email came on Friday late night (EST) and would like to share my timeline here:

MM/DD/YYYY

In-land, FSW
03/27/2015: ITA
05/25/2015: Submission & AOR
08/18/2015: Medicals passed
09/10/2015: RPRF
10/20/2015: DM
10/23/2015: PPR email

I shall be around for some time on this forum to FINALLY be able to help anyone in any pursuit as possible!

Thanks and Godspeed,

H

HI,

I have received PPR under Federal skilled worker and is planning to move to Canada by mid November. I have heard there is a specific amount of money that an applicant under FSW should carry with him while landing in Canada. Could any one of you help me with the information. Thanking you in advance for the help.

Hi Forum members,

Do you know of anyone who has received a DM or PPR from July AOR?
folks who recieved PPR from other months (earlier than July), can you please comment as to when can I expect a decision made on my case?
Below is my timeline:

26 JUN - ITA (FSW OUTLAND)
9 JUL - Submission + AOR
15 JUL - Medicals passed
30 OCT - BG in progress

Eagerly awaiting the next steps..

7 months and 1 week without updates. No news from CIC officer.

I received ITA about to submit online PR application...Is there a list or forum on reasons for PR rejection. Th eobviuos ones are criminal and medical problems.

Any other less obvious ones. I am trying to cover all bases?
