Hello guys!

My landing formalities are finally done, so I'm glad to share the complete timeline of my application processing.
It is the least I can do to repay you for all the help and guidance I got from this forum.
Hopefully it will be useful, at least for the sake of statistics =]

Feb 8:Application created: single applicant, inside Canada, BC, NOC 2173, arranged employment, 1088 points.
Feb 20:ITA under CEC (third draw).
Mar 15:Medical exam done.
Apr 2:Documents submitted. All fees paid. AOR same day.

    BG check:not needed
    Medical results:not needed
  • ECAS
    Status:in process
    Details:two lines
Apr 25:Application updated
  • MYCIC
    BG check:not needed->in progress
    Medical results:not needed->passed
  • ECAS
    Status:in process -> application received
    Details:added third line "Medical results have been received"
July 10:Got PPR
  • MYCIC
    No changes
  • ECAS
    No changes
July 11:Passport sent
July 15:Passport received by CPC - Ottawa
  • MYCIC
    No changes
  • ECAS
    Status:application received -> decision made
    Details:added fourth line "A decision has been made..."
July 20:Application updated
  • MYCIC
    Application status:open->closed
    Review of eligibility:in progress->passed
    BG check:in progress->complete
    Final decision:not started->application approved

July 23:Successfully landed and received a permanent resident status.

I Received the Passport request today. I have couple of queries. Can anyone please help me on that?

After I submit my application, I got married and my spouse is PR. I informed the family status change to CIC via email on June. They did not reply with any confirmation and few days back when I called to CIC Call center they informed that since my spouse will not be included in the application so they will not give any confirmation. My question is
1. On the bio-data from should I include my spouse name or only my name?
2. Do I need to send my marriage certificate and my spouse's PR card with the passport?

Can anyone please help?

I have a question, can you help me please would be great... do you need to keep your job bank account active after you have received AOR as mine is saying its almost going to be suspended... Would it be a problem or it doesnt really matter??

After you get an ITA, keeping the job bank profile active would appear to be a matter of personal choice. It's primary purpose is to eventually link up applicants with employers so that they can get job offers leading to those 600 points. And that's no longer a concern after you get an ITA.
 
hai, i am also waiting from march 12th (submitted) , my ecas is in process from June 9th but after that still now nothing update.i don't understand whats going on,getting more worry because more of peoples getting ppr with in 2 to 3 months, i am already closed to 5 months,lets see what will happen......

I think we have the same VO.. :) submitted my application march 19 and ECAS is in process since june 22 but till now no updates yet..I'm worried because many got their PPR days only after their ECAS was in process... Hope this end soon with positive result coz its so stressful waiting like this...

Got my Passport Request a few minutes ago, Alhamdulillah. I still haven't even submitted my Schedule A and they sent me a request.

Thank you all for all your help. I'll keep you updated.
