Hi guys.

Finally a PR. I complete my landing procedure yesterday at Rainbow bridge.
Just a heads-up for people who go for landing- Keep all your documents with you. Employment details, payslips, work permit and address proof. Take all documents you had sent in your application. Also a employment letter with the most recent date. I was missing my employment letter but thanks to internet, was able to show her my payslips online as proof.
Also, my CoPR mentioned the wrong eye color. I called CIC and they said I need to send an application to get it corrected and get a new CoPR. I was not convinced so I called again. This guy asked me to complete my landing procedure, as my work permit expires in 5 days, and make alteration by sending application afterwards. Strangely, the officer at the border said she can make the change there itself.

Thank you for all your support and good luck to all the applicants. :)

Hi.
I have two questions:
1) If I have photos, witch I made 8 months ago. Can I send it with my passport to Ottawa or it is need to make new one?
2) I'm living to far from the board with US. Maybe somebody know, how is it possible to make an appointment in Edmonton for flagpoint? How does it works?

CIC requested the Schedule-A form today. Strangely the letter says "You can submit a first page of the Schedule A (IMM5669 form)"

Hoping for the best.

CIC wrote clearlt that photo must be less than 6 months old ...
Whenever a photographer click a picture , they always write the date on the back of that image ..
My suggestion is to get a new one done from Costco ..
Its pretty cheap and ask the guy u want that picture for PR purposes ..

2. Call CIC call centre agents about booking a appointment for landing procedure in Edmonton and they will give u available dates in that office ( waiting time is 4 to 6 weeks )

Good Notes +1 for your. The Immigration Officer at the Border can make the changes via FOSS and enter the data back to GCMS systems. CBSA will not have direct access to GCMS to update but they can update via FOSS (Field Operations Support System) and mention their observations there which will be reflected back to GCMS.

Thanks Jaffa83. Do I still need to send the application or it will be done automatically as the immigration official made the changes at the border?

Congrats!! :)

Quick question , So are you gonna ask for PNP application fee refund ?

Yes, I will be requesting a refund for the landing fee (not the processing fee), so around $400-ish? I don't remember how much it was exactly.

Hello guys!
Mycic finally changed today to 'this application has been approved'. Super excited! I sent my passport on July 14, and they received it on July 16th. I am hoping i get it back by this Friday and i can do the flagpole this weekend.

Please, can anyone advise me on how to cancel BOWP application? I applied on June 1st and they clearly haven't gotten to my application yet, since they are still working on applications from March/April.
