lol.. I wouldn't know if they work on Sunday . I had same update mail experience with myCIC without any corresponding changes to my profile.

Its just the system is very inconsistent that it is hard not to get anxious about the smallest notifications :-X !!

Fingers crossed , hopeful of getting the PR !

They want an affirm note from your employer that your Employment will still continue once you get your PR status back in Canada. So, you may have the term like "Mr. XXX YYY has been a FT Perm empl with ABCD (company name) and we would like to continue his employment once he attains his legal status in Canada". This answers all the confusions and further clarifies the officer and directs him to make the decision. Good LUCK!!
