Im planning on applying for my BOWP. How long did it take you to recieve the AOR copy used to apply for BOWP?

I'm gonna say that majority of people here on the forum didnt receive the paper AOR, which according to CIC is needed to BOWP. CIC is not really consistent with this - some users here received BOWP without ever getting paper AOR, so if you wanna apply, do it anytime - it takes 3 months to process BOWP anyways, so by then your application for EE might be even approved already.
My consultant applied for me one day after we submitted EE application. Didn't receive the paper AOR so far, I will keep you guys here posted for sure.

I think DHL is a better choice. That VFS is a long thing. It's the last step, def worth the extra bucks.

I applied on May15th. Meds passed and ECAS changed to app received on May 26th. No update since. Anxiously waiting...

Wow. No, my background check isn't in progress yet. None of the applicants outside Canada have reported it in process until they are about to receive their passport request or sometimes simultaneously. So we all reached the conclusion that they may well be in progress but aupdated later. What about your ecas? Is it app received or in process now?

15k, much more expensive than VFS unfortunately and probably as much as 20k to pick up

wow, you spent some money... but then your passport get to reach Accra faster than sending through VFS.

They asked me 2 questions -
1. Why didnt u did landing at local visa office .
2. Have u been convicted for crime in Canada .

Total time during Landing procedure -
1. US side - 5 mins
2. Canada side - 7 mins approx ..

All together it took me Around 15 mins for both sides procedure .

Anyother questions ?
