I received update today and my bg check is changed to not needed at this time.
it was I'm progress and it went back to not needed at this time. Why it went back ?
but my ECAS still 3 line
we received you application February 18
we started processing your application June 9
Medical information has been received.

most of the cases it means ..ur bg check is completed and ur ppr is on the way...cheers

BG changed to "in progress" post PPR so I guess it was after PPR that it was done.

BG changed to In Progress for me after PPR too. which means they might reach out to my past employers or something. anyways lets see.

Hey guys! Could someone please share timelines of getting the visa stamped through VFS global. I'm not sure if my tracker died or it indeed takes more than a week to stamp a visa into a passport.

Mine did too! I haven't checked since receiving PPR, I thought I would get an email if there were any changes, evidently not.

My passport is being "processed" since June 30, no other news yet. It was Canada day yesterday, so the VO surely didn't work, but still, they seem to be rather slow-ish... I've read reports from people who got their passports back on the next day after submitting them. Hope the VO officers are not all on a leave.

Also, I've read on a different forum that allegedly the VO cannot issue more than a set amount of visas per month. Not sure if it's true or not, but assuming it's true, it would make sense for the VO to not even begin processing until today (since yesterday was a holiday).

Status change emails are sent in a batch job the night after the the change, I think you'll receive it tomorrow morning.
