First I would like to say Congrats to all of those that caught their dreams...
I am sorry for going off topic, but is there anyone on this forum who has been cancelled as incomplete due to pcc and got their files reopened? Or atleast got a reply to a cse before a refund?

Hi everyone
Just want to share my good news with you
I got my PPR today and someone on the forum is correct cos I also think CIC always issue PPR on Wed
and it cleared out some of my questions from before

Even if you are from a visa exempted country ( like me ) but you will still get a Passport request, it is just that you only need to send your passport copies, 2 immigration photos, Request letter and BIODATA ( this is actually just a piece of paper where you need to fill in your application #, name, height and eye color ) then send all above to Ottawa then just wait for CIC to send you the landing paper

All of my suffering is about to go to the end and wish everyone else here good luck ;D

Hey hope for the best, congress and thanks for letting us know your good news.

Really ???? I thought Canada Post was reliable... never faced any problem with it in past two years

same to me. Never had any problem with Canada post express service. I have been sent my passport from Ottawa after renewed haven't faced any kind of problem.

Hi everybody!!!
I need some clarification from CEC applicants. I have a friend who was invited under CEC, and she entered that she has a vocational certificate and that it was not evaluated, but in her checklist they are asking her to upload education documents. Does this mean she has to get an ECA for her vocational certificate?

Thanks in advance.

Nop!
Just the original documents + translation if needed.

I had to upload my bachelor degree and stuff, as I didn't do Ecas it didn't gave me any additional points for it. So it is ok.

:) Good luck!

Thanks for your quick response Rozie. Have they requested any additional documents from you?

Good luck to you as well.

It a sheer injustice to the top ITA rank holders who qualified at the top scores in Jan and Feb and are still struggling to get through.

On the other hand, some applications which stands no where close to top rankers are getting PPR in 4 to 8 weeks. Really frustrating to see the process.

I agree that it's frustrating for earlier applicants to see their files still pending while later applicants seem to breeze through, but "rank" and CRS really shouldn't play a role in the way and speed files are treated once the application has been submitted. So I don't see any injustice there. The job of CRS should only be to determine your eligibility for ITA; after receiving an ITA my personal opinion is that all files should be treated equally, i.e. the way they would normally be by the VO in question. Otherwise, why stop there? Why not have special queues for high CRS applicants at the border, handwritten notes from Chris Alexander, and welcome cocktails for anyone with 1000+ points? :D

I'm joking with those last examples, obviously, but you get my point, I hope! ITA recipients are already quite privileged, especially compared to those whose chances to immigrate were severely hurt by EE. To create additional tiers within the system makes little sense to me.
