You're awesome bud!! You understood the whole scenario here as many of our friends here were waiting since feb and March. But FYI, I submitted on April 6th from Canada (inland) under CEC and requested Schedule-A last week and so, you might get an update soon at least in a week or 2. Good Luck and keep up the same spirit.

We have an almost identical timeline. We are at the 2 months mark now, I'm hoping this week we will both get some good news(PPR), maybe even later today if we're lucky. ;D

And congrats Jaffa on the Schedule A request, looks like your on track. Double S, a PPR would be nice today but I'm not very optimistic, but maybe this week

I really hope so. My timeline is as follows:

ITA- 27th March
Submitted Application - 16th April
Medical Passed 21st April
Second AOR- 29th May
Schedule A 8th June.

we are similar,i submitted on April 10th, medical passed may 5th,but i haven't got any request yet. Hollaugo, did u fill out all the past addresses since 18 years old in details for the online application?

OMG I received the request for schedule A and Police Certificate from United Kingdom.


Does that mean me an my partner, common law - we both need to submit it? It's not clearly indicated.

I only ever had connecting flights in UK, whereas he travelled there for about a month, and his mother is English. However he's not from UK and his mother left UK when she was a kid.

I'm also freaking out because it says 30 days deadline and these police certificates can take a long time.


Please advise. I am shaking.

In the Request Letter they will mention the UCI for which the document must be submitted. Relax and they will not reject your application and go thru the letter again and apply for UK PCC, so that you can provide them with an explanation letter that you applied on so and so date with proof, and they might give you more time for you. CIC may understand the processing delays with the Govt institutions as they do the same delays in processing our applications. Also, Check your and your dependent Address histroy if you have ever mentioned a stay of more than 6 months continuoulsy only then they require us to submit the letter. You can also can send the CSE to check why they were requesting the UK PCC if under 18 years and never stayed more than 6 months? You have lots of options and so relax and use ur chances.

Anyone with similar timeline had ECAS dates updated to the real dates already??

I'm already much better now, after the initial shock I've been thinking of PR for a long time, and even more so intensively this year when things started rolling with EE and we finally submitted the app. Thinking about it several times every day with no news. And boom, an email.

It's like receiving a letter from an unrequited love or something

I called CIC last Friday they informed if I wont get my passport back in 2-3 weeks of time then I need to contact CIC ..

So i need to wait 2 more weeks to complete 3 weeks.

Once I get my passport . I will do landing formalities in Edmonton Service Canada office ..


If I do landing formalities in Edmonton to complete the entire process I heard it takes 2 months to receive landing paper.

my question is if I do landing formalities in Edmonton . Can I leave the country for 1 month in sep 15 - Oct 15 irrespective of landing procedure

does anyone have idea about this.

sorry I dunno how to post new post...

I already got my PPR request last June 1, but I got a problem my application for Bowp was returned to me coz I forgot to pay for open work permit holder fee of $100, the letter was dated last May 15 but I received just last week same time with my ppr. do i need to resubmit the application even if I already ppr? ???
