And did you ever get a response to your e-mail that it was received?

If yes, how long did it take them to reply?

My ECAS was updated today. It became 2 lines, but turned to 3 lines again. ;)

We received your application for permanent residence on March 3, 2015.

We started processing your application on June 1, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

My ECAS changed today exactly same msg. Also same day CIC updated my mailing address in ECAS, which wasn't yesterday.

as you have done you medicals relatively recently, they might not update for a while - a whole bunch of people were told it could take up to 3 months for medicals to get linked with the file....

my observations are that if medicals show in MyCIC early, it doesn't mean a whole lot, but if it takes a while to get updated, then it seems to be when they are actually starting to process the case

so bottom line - no need to worry for the moment

Now you're at least relieved from your stress. So, they were updating the backlogs which is good.

Has anyone who applied in the first week of May received their PPR request.

Thanks

Hello PPL,

There seems to be some confusion on what is AOR. There are 2 options

A notice (Electronic receipt of APR) is automatically issued to the applicants on receipt of their electronic application submission. This notice indicates the following: “Your application is being checked to determine whether it meets the requirements of a complete application pursuant to section 10 and section 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.” This notice cannot be used to support a BOWP, as it does not reflect that the applicant has received a “positive eligibility assessment” as required for a BOWP.

A letter (Acknowledgement of Receipt) is issued to the applicants once their application has passed a completeness check. This letter indicates the following: “CIC has reviewed your application and determined that it meets the requirements of a complete application as described in section 10 and section 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.” This is the official Acknowledgement of Receipt letter and it may be used to support a BOWP if all other requirements are met.

Is it the first or second that all of you have received?
