I guess you might get it by later next week. They will take at least 5 days for sure as they have to do the checking the authenticity etc. They run your PP before they issue the PR etc. So hope for later next week. Congrats BTW.

Speaking from my experience, it might take longer than a week. Earlier you used to get the passport back in 10 days. I sent on 9th May and I will only get it back this week. They emailed me last friday that they will dispatch it soon.

You must be talking about applications filed via FSW however this thread is for applications filed this year via Express Entry. Try this link for FSW

Guys, if your address or anything else is changed and you need to notify cic, how do you do it? I am outside Canada in U.S. currently. On cic's website it says I should contact visa offices in the country. But on the visa office page (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#u) EE's office section it says:

Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Skilled Trades and Canadian Experience Class : Express Entry

All other applications: CPC-O

Also my citizenship is another country not U.S. Is it possible that my case is being processed in my home country's visa office?

So which office should I contact exactly? What do you think? :-X

If you have ECAS access, then do it directly it will be updated directly on your file.

Seniors, I want to upload this letter in explanation letter, please give comments its ok or need some more work

Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m witting this letter to inform that, I have made a correction in education history of permanent residency application. My one year Canadian Diploma degree started on September 2011 and completed on August 2012. In Express Entry profile I have provided this Canadian Diploma degree completed in April 2012 which is not correct. Please accept my correction.

Thanks everyone.

Hey Guys I know it has been mentioned somewhere before, but I just can't find it. "MyCIC" BG Check inprogress May 29, 2015 but my ECAS still says Application Received. What exactly takes place during this phase (I have job Offer) and what is the projected time for PPR?

Hello everyone,

Another update on 31st May, ECAS now has three lines - last is Medical results have been received. I got my medical passed in my MY CIC on 28th may (submitted my application on 16th as mentioned before).
Also, background check says "Not started" from "Not needed at this time" :) - All this on a Sunday!

Based on timelines and statuses posted on the forum, I think that ECAS remains "Application Received" when all documents were provided.
It goes back to "In Process" when they ask for additional docs (Schedule A, FBI, etc).

Congrats everyone that got PPR and/or PRPF

@ Brunofuster This was true in my case. I got request to submit Schedule A, FBI clearance and RPRF fee on May 28 and I submitted on May 29. This was my ecas when I checked today (line 2 was newly added):

1.We received your application for permanent residence on March 2, 2015.

2.We started processing your application on May 27, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.
