May I ask when they normally release PPR?
How long is background check?
And is it normal that my Medical status became "In Progress" again after it was updated as "Passed"?

My Medical went from PASSED to NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME after 3 weeks..... Kind of confusing

WOW May 9th till now is 3 weeks so you didn't got passport yet ...


Why they are taking sooo long ...

I have plans to go to holidays in 2nd week of July .....

Mine was delayed by a week (or so) due to some reasons. You can expect yours in 15-20 days. Best wishes!

April 29 - My Background check went IN PROCESS and Medical PASSED ... The same time they requested for my original IELTS that I submitted the same day. My ECAS came up with 3 lines Application received, started processing & medical received (but the dates where the dates I made my EE profile) overall ECAS became APPLICATION RECEIVED from In process. On May 17 - I noticed that there was an update in MYCIC - my Medical was changed to NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME from PASSED and my ECAS came with 2 lines - Received your application on 14 March (the day I submitted my application) and Medical received. From then on I have not received any updates from them. Only God knows what is happening.

ITA1: feb 7 (FSW, they drop it and updated it next with ITA2)
ITA2: Feb 20 (CEC)
Submitted docs: March 14
CELPIP request: April 24
CELPIP Submitted: April 24
Medical Passed: April 24
Background check to "in progress": April 24.

No more news @Mycic ever since....

Now ECAS, whole different story:

Don't know when it changed from:

*Received your application on February 4th
*We started working on your application on February 4th
*Medicals pass

TO:

*We received your application for permanent residence on March 15, 2015.

*Medical results have been received.

I know many people already asked this, but I read the articles on cic website and still is not clear to me. (probably because I am overwhelmed with all this)
Please, I would like your input (once again)

I never received the second AOR, and my current visa and work permit expires in August. Shall I apply for BOWP now? Or should I wait to see if I receive the PPR request?? (maybe a few more weeks)

Someone posted before that the turn around between BChk "in progress" to PPR request was about 35-45 days....

Is anyone keeping track of it? what should be the "expected" turnaround now? I know every case is different.... but just to keep my hopes up.

How long does it take to complete background check ??

According to some posts, three lines are fine to go forward.
My ECAS happen nothing when it became two lines.
I am really worry about it.

Does anyone can get any changes after became two lines?
