Hi guys, my file has been reopened on may 15 and presently I have relocated to another house. Now I need to change my address ,my process is done through my agent ,can I do it by myself or should I go through my agent.plz guide me

E-cas updated from we received your application on January 27 with second line we started processing on March 8 to (we received your application may 13)

Background check in progress may 22
E-cas status application received and updated on may 26 with medical results have been received.

I also have a five year visit visa

Am I on a right track ??

You can change it through ECAS and let the attorney know the change. Your address change is allowed only through ECAS once your file is in processing.

I'm using a representative as well and the address on ECAS is not my personal address, it's the lawyers address for mailing. I think that he needs to open a case specific enquiry instead to change his personal address instead of mailing address.

If I'm not wrong, you can either do it by yourself or ask for your representative.

Yepp, you're correct and that's what I mean to keep the attorney updated if he changes. In his query he said his address is changed. So, prob'ly his attorney put the client address on the file while filing unlike others.

Yes when they requested documents it will be in application received ...

When ecas goes to in process ... You are done they won't ask you any documents ... You get either yes ppr or no refused ..

Not necessarily. My ECAS says "Application Received" but they didn't ask for additional documents..

What he meant is that If CIC ask additional docs then it will go to In Process before Decision Made status. If no documents asks it will go to Decision made with/without In Process status.

Most of people who got PPR looks like from exiting CEC applicant from 2014 reached the cap and returned application . congrats anyway
