Yes, did that when I raised the case specific query yesterday.. I was hoping the technical issue would anyway be resolved by today but no :(. Anyway, I've written to the technical support department of CIC as well with screenshots of the error and an explanation of my problem. Here's hoping they are going to take notice! Nothing to do but to wait and watch. The frustration is overwhelming :). Many thanks for your response. It's reassuring nonetheless :). Good luck !

"In Process" -> "Application Received" -> "In Process" -> PPR request

> Application Received - They have received your application and all the documents like CELPIP, IELTS, Medicals etc are received
> 2nd In Process - Actual Processing of Application
> Decision Made - Approved (PPR or Bio-Data document request)/Refused (restart from EE profile)
> Complete - Landed successfully at a Canadian Border.

+1 Thanks jaffa83 and dragon17sky for this info. This wait is just making me anxious. Specifically because I'm flying out of Canada for a vacation by the end of June.. I hope it comes soon. After PPR, roughly how long does it take for them to return the passport? (given that the application is approved)

How long does it take for the AOR once the documents have been submitted?

AOR can arrive in minutes or can take days. I received mine 2 minutes after submission of application however I have read on forum about cases where it took days.

what causes the confusion here is that there are 2 acknowledgements. one of them is automated and given right after you submit your application.

the second one says ""CIC has reviewed your application and determined that it meets the requirements of a complete application as described in sections 10 and 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations." indicating the application set is complete and actual processing started.

it took me 6 weeks to get the second AOR.

I strongly agree to this. So, applicants who submittd in May for sure expect a second AOR based on the new bulletin from CIC. This will be a good thing though for those who are in Canada and getting closer to the WP expiry. Now, they can use this for their BOWP and be relaxed until theu get their turn in the processing queue. For those from Overseas with the 2nd AOR can start initial preparation for travel and once u get the PPR get ready to fly with final preparation.

+1 for you. Very good advise with thread!!

Waiting since 16th Feb, and loosing my mind over checking CIC and ECAS.
ECAS is still application Received.

Are they ever going to process my application?

I am bound to think now that Australia would have been much more better.
Bad decision on my side

C'mon..We didn't expect this from you. You're one of the active persons I have seen here. Everyone has does it, but it's just 100-120 days so far and u still have 80-60 days more to get a +ve decision. Don't just get stressed with the rejection message from others.

Thanks jaffa :(
I am just tired of refreshing and getting stuck on this.

I couldn't focus on anything else except this
