Ecas status is app receieved with two lines

The same thing happened to me. I just checked my ECAS and there only 2 lines left. ohoh

Two issues if you change once you change from what you have in ITA and eAPR mismatches
1. Though you may not be acquiring any points does not mean that you submitted a clear application.
2. If you see the way the ECAS is showing from our applications, they were considering the EE pool application acceptance date and ITA date as received and processing apps.

Bottom line is even if it is not about the points but make sure you submit with same info before and after ITA in order to avoid any delay in processing and unnecessary issues

But nothing's updated (22nd May). What does that mean??? My Background check was in process since yesterday (21st May)
I saw the answer to this question some time back but couldn't find it now. Seniors please help.

Hi Guys,

I received an email from CIC today asking for my ECA to be submitted as part of additional document request.
I was given until May 29th to submit the document. if not then they say "Application will be assessed based on the available information and will be refused".
When they say refused, does that mean i will not get any fees paid ?? if they reject then i think i will not get but refuse the application will be different any thoughts??

PS: BTW, i got positive response for my first application so hopefully if i didn't submit this doc and they refuse and give all my money back then i would be thankful.

I disagree based on the information posted on the following link. See "Incomplete Applications" for they were saying. So, no matter what if it is complete or not. Once the eAPR is submitted, it will be first promoted to GCMS (which will make accessible by applicant once in GCMS) and then they will cancel if found Incomplete.

So, no need to worry if you're not having access to ECAS but do send a CSE to CIC-Sydney to let them know this issue in your case.

I was speaking based on my personal experience with two PR applications, one a PNP Paper Application and the other is the EE PR Application. You don't need to email CIC-Sydney, in fact, they won't even respond to you. If you wish you may submit a case specific inquiry, but it won't get your application showing on ECAS because I have tried all those myself.

I couldn't check the ECAS status for my PNP PR Application which CIC received on September 18, 2014 until an officer had assessed it and deemed it as completed (emailed the AOR) on February 16, 2015. After that I was able to see my application on ECAS.

Same with my EE PR Application, which was submitted on February 18, 2015 and I was not able to see it on ECAS until March 6, 2015 when an officer had taken a look at it. Through inquiries submitted by my MP and myself through the case specific inquiry form, I was told that my application took longer to be updated on both ECAS and MyCIC was because I provided information that requires additional assessment for completeness. I am not sure what information the agent was talking about, but until it is being looked at by an officer it won't be showing on ECAS based on my personal experience.

my case was rare, I logged in MyCiC to find out my BG check changed to In Process on May 6th, and received no email about update at all!

Mine too... ECAS From 3 lines it became 2 lines with the correct date of submission date - 14 March as of today. Just hoping for the best.

Hi Folks, please take sometime to update the Tracker in my signature. Someone corrupted the spreadsheet. So, Now I created a Web Form so that no one cannot change this data any more in the spreadsheet but everyone with the link can view the tracker.

when logged to my cic it said updated link there but when viewed nothing updated

Can you share your timeline in here or in the spreadsheet under my signature. I guess those who have their files updated in ECAS may turn soon to In Process. So, we can track if it is the case.
