Dear Friends,

Do you guys have two different lines in ecas like "Medical Results have been received" and "Medical passed" ?

Or is it always just one line as "Medical Results have been received" ??

Medical results have been received will show on ECAS while Medical passed will show on Mycic.

No, they didn't asked me for additional documents. You mean they usually give me PPR request in 30 days after medical passed?

We're on the exact same boat. I didn't get any request for additional documents, and my ECAS only has 2 lines now since about a week ago when before that there were 3 lines.. Though jaffa83 says that they only ask for documents if there's something missing, and to confirm some details. Still waiting for any update from CIC. Goodluck to us!

This is what I have seen here so far and CIC is unpredictable so far. We never know what might they come-up with. They have cancelled the applications like anything during end of april and 1st week of may. But they reopened once the applicants contacted CIC with the missing documents.

BTW, what is your ECAS status, If it is In Process from App Received, then you may expect any document request (like SCH-A, NOA, New Employment letter if you're close to end of your current Closed WP etc) or RPRF fee request if you have not paid during the eAPR submission or finally PPR.

Good Luck!!

Hi Anya654,

Thanks for your reply +1 for you.

I am a FSW 2014 applicant.

By any chancce, do you know FSW2014 applicants can check their status in MyCIC ? (I am a FSW 2014 applicant not EE applicant) Because right now I can only check my status in ecas. So it just say "Medical results have been received. Don't know whether passed or not.

Thanks for the +1. no you can't check your status in Mycic as you did not submit your application online hence you didn't go via the Express Entry route. Since you sent your application off via the paper route you can track your status through ECAS only.

Any file under processing with CIC will be under GCMS only, So MyCIC is the only submission and receiving area of the documents. So even for EE or Non-EE ECAS is the final source of application status as ECAS is linked to GCMS. If you have any doubts on need clarifications on your file order GCMS notes.

Bottomline: EE and Non-EE applicants source of application status is ECAS.

Hello cooldim84
To answer your first question, no we don't have two lines for our medicals. Our ecas only states "Medical Results have been received" However, under express entry, your ecas will only state "Medical results have been received" a few days after your medicals have been passed. So I think you can infer that your medicals have been passed. Worry not.

Unlike those whose ecas is updating with new dates, my ecas status still shows 2 lines- file received on the date I created my EE profile and medicals received. It's been over a month since my medical was 'passed' and documents 'provided', but a background check is yet to begin. Is there anyone else whose ecas did not updated with new dates? Waiting for updates is the toughest part in this process... CIC has no real plan on whose file they process when. It's a very badly managed system they have going on with everyone receiving different updates!!

My ECAS still has the old dates with three lines.
