I am just wondering whether i should think that i have passed my medicals since they have updated in my ecas that "Medical results have been received". My medicals were uploaded to the system by the clinic on 20th May and my visa office updated the ecas on Saturday 23rd May.

If they have any concern about my Medical reports, how soon you think they will contact me?

I believe it is same with the regular Non-EE applicants ECAS status too. We have received your medicals from ECAS means we can assume Medicals passed according to MYCIC account.

This is what I have seen here so far and CIC is unpredictable so far. We never know what might they come-up with. They have cancelled the applications like anything during end of april and 1st week of may. But they reopened once the applicants contacted CIC with the missing documents.

BTW, what is your ECAS status, If it is In Process from App Received, then you may expect any document request (like SCH-A, NOA, New Employment letter if you're close to end of your current Closed WP etc) or RPRF fee request if you have not paid during the eAPR submission or finally PPR.

My ECAS status used to be "In Process" before my medical was updated. Right now it's "Application Received". I paid the full fee upon submission as well..

I had applied for PCC for my Australian visa application. My Indian PCC says - It is certified that there is no adverse info against the applicant which would render him ineligible for travel facilities including visa for Australia.

Issued in March 2015.

Do I request a new PCC for Canada or do I submit the same?
Anyone been in a similar situation.

Currently I have a close work permit with my employer which is in Toronto. And my employer wants to send me back to India after 6 month as my project work is going to over. However my current close work permit is valid till Sept 2016. Is there any other way I can try for open work permit/PNP/LMIA?

Please suggest...

No, my work permit is not LMIA approved . Its only close work permit with my current employer.
