Congrats buddy!! Did your ECAS status ever changed since Application Received?

it was in process before, and today it change to decision made.

If Lucky,

Please correct me what you said.

1. Intially your ECAS 1st page status "Permanent Residence Application Status" is Application Recieved
2. Later "Permanent Residence Application Status" to In Process
3. Now finally "Permanent Residence Application Status"" it showing Decision Made and added 4th line.

Thanks
Giri

Hi All

Just wondering if someone can help.

I applied for PNP Express Entry and received my AOR on May 1st but my current IEC visa runs out June 2nd.

Do I apply for visa extension or visitor visa?

Thanks

Apply for bridging work permit, but very unlikely to be approved before your IEC runs out. Good news is you will be on implied status, but wouldn't be able to continue working until work permit is approved.

Hope this help.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 29, 2015.

2.We started processing your application on February 24, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

My ECAS just add 4th line today, I hope I can get ppr soon.

Congrats you lucky guy.

Hi I have checked and said I can't apply for bridging work permit until I have PNP nomination letter. So do I go onto visitor status?

Thanks

Oh, thought you have nomination letter and that you have made application to cic and received AOR. Your only option in this case would be extending your visitor visa.

Hi All

Previously my application was cancelled on the premise that I did not upload birth certificate and medical for non-accompanying children.
I could have uploaded them if they asked for it but throughout my application I was never asked to upload them.

So I submitted a case specific enquiry explaining the situation and also provided the missing documents after 2 days of cancellation.

Today I got a new message in my cancelled application that it has been reopened.

My medical is in Progress and Background check is also in progress.

I couldn't believe it, after all CIC does listen.

That's good to know that CIC is reading the emails and making adjustments on a case to case basis. Hopefully the applications that got rejected to due to the ECA issue will be reopened as well, as long as the applicants contacted CIC with the issue.

Thanks for sharing, very happy for you. I hope other people whose applications were rejected unfairly have also contacted CIC and will have their cases reopened.

I did same. Attached mariage certificate and old passport scan too. Don't forget to add it in letter of explanation which I didn't. I thought they will ask for additional documents, but looking at few rejections don't take chance.

Is it important to attach old passport scan? Isn't marriage certificate proof?
I'm thinking of attaching an identity card scan along with it?

Also how do you phrase the letter of explanation? And do you print it and then upload it with all the documents?
