Same situation. What I was told by my consultant (and what I'll do) is to upload the marriage certificate. Exact same thing that I'll be uploading as my document as proof of marriage.

My original certificate is in Arabic. I got it translated and attested by the Ministry of Justice and Foreign Affairs in Dubai.

I did same. Attached mariage certificate and old passport scan too. Don't forget to add it in letter of explanation which I didn't. I thought they will ask for additional documents, but looking at few rejections don't take chance.

CIC will 100% ask u for RCMP if all ur name is Given Name and NO surname or if all ur name is in Surname but no given name . Check ur work permits for dat ..

Secondly CIC now taking around 34-40 days for PPR after ur status changed to BG in process and in ECAS 3rd line appears i.e. Medical received ..

One more think 34-40 days are only for the applicants who do not need to provide additional documents ..

If they ask for additional documents wait time can go further ..

Myself and Krishna19 (with EE file number) applied online on March 9th and we both got ours approved on May 06, 2015. So, it might take 3-4 weeks for you to get.

Hi guys, today I got a message from CIC saying that my application for EE was updated. I logged into MyCIC and in fact the status said Updated, I opened it and it was the same as before, no changes.

So I checked my ECAS using my application number and no updates there either, only 2 lines (even though I had medical passed and bg check in progress on May 7). However, I tried searching for my ECAS status using my UCI number and, for the first time, it worked and showed status of my EE application (only the 2 lines as well), but now I can search on ECAS using EE app number and UCI number.

Did anyone notice that too/had the same experience?

Are you sure you got the message today and not yesterday? Just wondering if CIC works on Sundays.

Last thrusday my ecas changed to application received and it was the first time I was able to use UCI as they are entering more data into ecas.

You should have the 3rd line soon cheers
