Passport reached CIC Ottawa - April 24th
Passport with landing papers mailed by CIC - May 5th
Passport with landing papers reached me - May 6th

I got an ITA under CEC a couple weeks ago and going through this thread I am confused if you would have to upload the ECA and CELPIP while uploading all the other docs or wait for CIC to ask to send it to them. I also don't see ECA or CELPIP being asked to be upload any where in current list of documents asked to be uploaded. Hope somebody can clear this out for me.

Just upload them, it wouldn't cost you anything. On the plus side it'll even save you time incase they ask for them at a future date. I uploaded both my ECA and IELTS under education.

Hi All,

I have a question on the PCC. I know a lot has been discussed, but I find myself in a unique position here:

Countries stayed in more than 6 months: India and UAE

Case: I am currently in the UAE and I filed my application on the 2nd of April. My medicals have been passed and now I see that my Background check hasn't started.
As a part of this application I submitted 2 PCC's. The one from UAE was a recent one (<3months old). The one from India however was issued in December 2014. I have travelled to India only once between December and now for just 3-4 days. Based on the new rules will this be considered as a stay and will my PCC submitted for India then be invalid?

Do let me know what you think about the above. Thanks

I do not think it is going to be an issue. Since CIC never mentioned anywhere of the effective date of the PCCs giving us room of comfortness. If they specify the effective for those submitted for processing after rule is published then we have a reason to worry.

last week， i got message from cic， they ask me to pay landing fee. What is that mean? I didn't get ppr request yet.

I completed my medical first week of April. I'll be submitting my application today, Inshallah as I was waiting for my wife's ECA.

I see on average it takes about a month for Ottawa to process the medical results. As I have already done my medicals approximately 40 days ago and it was already sent to Ottawa, do any of you suppose my application might get processed faster?

I applied for PNP Express Entry and received my AOR on May 1st but my current IEC visa runs out June 2nd.

Do I apply for visa extension or visitor visa?
