My status just got updated this morning.
In MyCiC
Medical: from not needed to passed

Current full status:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
A final decision has been reached Not Started

ECAS:
Changed from "in Process" -> "Application received".
Still the 2 line, application received on ... and we started processing on...

My timeline is as follows:
Received ITA: 27th March
Submitted Application: 10th April
AOR: 10th April
Medicals Passed: 15th April

Application status: open
Review of eligibility: Review in progress
Background check: Not started

Background check is what is worrying me.. I see people getting background check in progress along with Medicals passed status. Anyone on the same boat as me and waiting for Background ground status change?

ECAS status is Application received with 3 lines including 'Medicals have been received'...

My timeline is exactly the same, uncannily so. Same dates for AOR and medicals, same status in MyCIC, same status in ECAS.

On saturday morning I checked myCIC myself and noticed the status was updated iso submitted. When opening I noticed the background check was updated to in progress.
In the evening I received a CIC update mail for that.

This morning I opened MyCIC and status was submitted, so I didn't expect to see anything, but medical was passed.

Up to now no CIC mail for that change

ah see,, thats good news... its moving.. coz mine last week CIC send me email that my application has been updated but when i check it nothing changes, just the same.. im wondering why did they send me an email but nothing happens... ;D ;D ;D

I have seen people reporting nothing from last week ... Does it mean CIC stopped accessing our case or may be they are validating the cases very very very very very slow...

Previous weeks I saw Tuesday and Friday are PPR days....now there is no sign of it ... applicants who applied through lawyers might be getting some information from them isn't?....

No updates . I dont know why....

I saw last week on May 1 st one person got open work permit as his work permit got expired on April 30th ..........I submitted open work permit on March 9th and my current work permit expires on 23rd May . I think they will consider my open work permit first before they take decision on PR application. Its just a guess though..

My application status is one week behind you. so was just curios to know how things are goin. I observed that people heard back from CIC in 25-30 days once their medicals were updated in ECAS.

Im into week 2 now since they are updated.. hope fully should hear ( ofcourse not something Weird) by this month end!!...
