Hi All!
After completing my profile, the checklist initially had an option to upload additional documents with letter of explanation. This option doesn't appear after i made a few changes in my profile and completed it again. I wanted to upload docs for educational activity and jobs mentioned in personal history which I haven't claimed points for Sad, this would definitely make the process smoother and wouldn't have them coming back to me Sad. What must I do? Please suggest! Any advice is appreciated. Thanks a ton!

U can combine those documents into a single PDF file and upload in to letter of explanation.

I think that the only optional document you're supposed to provide is the letter of explanation, which is why you can't add anything else. However, I, too, wanted to add a document anyway; I ended up merging it together with the letter of explanation and mentioning this fact in the letter. If you can't squeeze everything into a single file and you think you really need to add these documents, you may also try the case specific enquiry - I'm not 100% sure, but I think it allows to attach files, too (but I think it would be overkill).

AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt

CAIPS - Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System. This is the computer system used by Citizenship and Immigration Canada for storing all overseas visa application information. This system records every bit of information you provide. It is like an electronic identity; existence of the applicant. This is very helpful when anything abnormal happens (e.g. delay in reply, lack of updation, long processing time). It is also helpful when you are selected for the interview. You can know the probable cause of interview requirement by obtaining the CAIPS notes.
CANN - Community Airport Newcomers' Network
CELPIP - Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program. This is one of only two English language testing organizations approved by CIC (IELTS is the other). CELPIP testing is only available in Canada (Vancouver and Toronto) and China.

Don't worry, they have asked most of the Celpip ppl to do so.

I have not received an AOR yet, but I tried to use my EE profile number on ECAS, which gives me an very interesting result.

It indicates that my application started processing on Mar 7.

I tried to check my application status using e-CAS and couldnt find anything. Identification document I used was Express Entry File number, Client ID/UCI, Receipt number, and all came up to nothing. Anyone help please. I can see the file status in MyCIC account but not in eCas

Oh is it only for CELPIP... not for IELTS ?

I know a person that has been asked to submit the IELTS again, but I've seen on this forum that it was pretty often for the CELPIP.

you should look at it from the bright side. There has been progress... and in most cases here when the ppl got PPR it was shortly after resubmitting the additional docs.... but then again.... no rule.

I'm pretty impatient already.
