I called CIC to book an appointment and they said we need COPR to book one. Because they need the expiry date from it to book an appointment. The waiting time for the appointment here in my city is 6-8 weeks so I am planning to go to Coutts or Carway.

Yes you need COPR to book an appointment. You'll receive the same with your passport. Even in my case the waiting time was 6-8 weeks, that's why i decided to do my landing formalities at carway border. when you'll do landing at border they'll ask you why didn't you booked an appointment at your city, why did you came here, so be ready to answer all these questions. I would suggest you to read others experiance at carway and coutts border to prepare youself. All the best.

Guys, anybody got PR from the 31st Jan ITA ? What is the expected date to get ? Is it going to take nearly 6 months as they said in cic website or it could be less than that ?

Nobody knows, but the Government committed to six months in the majority of cases, so why not trust them?

What is PPR ? What do you mean by Passport Submitted ? Is it final stage of PR process ? are you going to get PR soon ?

PPR is Passport Request.
The CIC requests the candidate to send the PR after most of processing(its like climax of the story).
Yes, he will get the PR.
