It is not a typo my friend. It actually took 10 days for me.
I was amazed by other applicant on this forum getting it the next day.

AOR is just acknowledgement of receipt, in other words, it only confirms they have received the documents you provided and can now begin processing.

So its not the same as AOR under the old system where it was first stage approval so u could then apply for bowp ?

HELLO GUYS,
I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE MOST APPROPRIATE NOC FOR A PERSON WORKING AS AN ACCOUNTANT. I HAVE A B.COM DEGREE AND MBA WITH MAJOR FINANCE. HOWEVER, I AM NOT A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT NOR I HAVE ANY CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANT COURSE. IF I CONSIDER TO APPLY UNDER NOC 1111, THE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT OF THAT NOC CATEGORICALLY STATES ONLY THOSE APPLICANTS HAVING COMPLETED CERTIFIED COURSES CAN BE ELIGIBLE UNDER NOC 1111 OR THOSE APPLICANTS WHO ARE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS. THEREFORE, I SEEK THE GUIDANCE FROM THE FORUM TO HELP ME IN FINDING THE MOST APPROPRIATE NOC WHICH MATCHES MY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AS AN ACCOUNTANT. JUST TO ADD TO THE ABOVE I AM WORKING AS AN ACCOUNTANT FOR THE PAST MORE THAN 2 YEARS IN A PRIVATE ACCOUNTING FIRM AND MY JOB DUTIES INVOLVE e.g. FILING INCOME TAX RETURNS, TDS RETURNS, KEEPING FINANCIAL RECORDS OF BANKS/FIRMS, SUPERVISING ARTICLING STUDENTS AND OTHERS SUCH TASKS.

KINDLY GUIDE.
THANKS

i think CIC treat differently each application.

I have received Acknowledgement of receipt - Application for permanent residence email in mycic account within 15 seconds after submitting the profile and paying all fees.
Is it AOR everyone is talking about ? or there will be different AOR later ?

I think what you got within 15 seconds is Confirmation of Online Application Transmission.
After that they give Acknowledgement of receipt - Application for permanent, which for me took 10 days and for some people happened he next day.

I got both the aor and the confirmation Just a few minutes after paying.
Both at the same time.

Which all together really doesn't matter, it's the reat of it that I'm curious about.

Waiting for a document from my previous employer. Been waiting from 2 weeks on one document. So frustrated. I hope I will get it coming week and I shall share the details.

This is a question to who have got ITA ,
My LMIA NOC code is 3111 (specialist physician). My current job in Canada is LMIA exempt as specialist physician based training fellowship .I have a job offer with LMIA from another employer starting Sept 2015. CELPIP is 12,,12,8,9.
Can i claim points for this LMIA based job offer on completion of training here .
My score is 1073 with this LMIA . I purposely did not apply in EE earlier , since i was worried if i could get all documents like Police Clearance and ECA in time.
How much time and what documents are asked to be uploaded and in what time frame by CIC.
Should i apply for EE or wait till i get ECA and Police clearance certificate.
Do they ask for Police clearance certificate from other countries you worked in. I worked in Saudi Arabia before coming to Canada one year back on a work permit.
Would appreciate guidance from you all.

Congrats to all who received ITA :)

All the Best.
