Thanks for your response!

I was hoping the other $6000 wouldn't look so dodgy because I have a balance certificate from RBC and as my work permit is about to expire it may just look like money from my work if I don't submit my bank statements, just the balance certificate.

I just don't know what to do. It's frustrating because I have the money but I don't know how to prove it is my money
As far as CIC is concerned, bank statement is the primary document for POF. You can submit supporting documentation where required to validate the information but you'll still hve to submit the bank statement mandatorily.

Hey, guys.
I've just got a serious issue that my grandfather passed away...
So I should go back to my country for like a week.
Buy my question is am I allowed to leave Canada while I'm under process for my PR?
Here's a little bit of my information
I have a 2 years valid LMO which is going to expired this year November.
I got ITA under CEC for 4th draw on Feb 27 and I submitted my documents on Mar 20.
I passed Medical on middle of May.
And Background, Review of eligible is in progress on middle of May.
I was asked to upload Additional documents (Schedule A) on June 5 and June 6. (They asked me twice I don't know why)
I submitted Schedule A document on June 6 and it's been over 2 weeks but no updates so far.
I must go back to my country and wondering if i am allowed to do that..
Does it affect my application?
My WP was about to expire May 5th and I travelled to Europe for some documents, returning March 17 - no issues at the airport in Toronto whatsoever. I applied for PR through EE at the end of april, we got ITA only after I returned. Your WP is still valid for a long time. I see no problem why you shouldn't be allowed to travel.

Guys! Good News. I just got my local Passport Request from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca (local PPR). The reason they don't mention the address of the local VO in the original PPR is because they want us to use a 3rd party agent called "VFS global" to send the passports to the embassy in Moscow. So you would have to either go to one of their offices in person or send them the passports using a courier service to VFS global and not directly to the embassy (safety thing I guess). Anyways, going to make a few mug shots and mail the passports tomorrow, pretty excited :D

Just a quick question, if I got ppr during my travel abroad. Can I let my parents mail out my passport copies with photo and bio data to CPC-O within Canada?
I am from exempt country which I don't need visa and submit original passport to VO.
Do I need to buy prepaid Canada Xpresspost envelope?
Thanks!

The local VO PPR will state the exact address of the local visa office at the bottom left corner. You would need to send your passports there. Unlike the original PPR which expires in 30 days and in my case didn't have the local VO address, the local visa office PPR expires in 60 days, so I think you'd have enough time to send your passports. Another remark is that local visa office might refuse to send passports to another country, that might be true only for my local visa office, and I can't say for sure about the rest.

I can't really comment on that, since I require a valid visa to enter Canada. But my speculation would be yes that will work since you are not sending original passports.

Dear All,

I got the response from CPC CTD Ottawa office yesterday (after 11 days). They have finally made arrangement for CoPR stamping to be done at New Delhi office.

I have submitted my passport today and will update the forum on how many days do they take for stamping.

Thanks

I think it depends on the LVO. my PPR had a 15days lifeline.

good you have an update now :)

Congratulations! What did they say in their reply? Were they surprised at your question or is this the normal route for everyone applying from outside Canada? - Get a PPR, send a mail, wait 11 days for reply and then they tell you what to do! Doesn't appear too Express, that way :p

hey man, I don't think thats the normal route. My PPR request indicated where I should send my PP to. I guess the two incidents were probably administrative error.

I got it as a mail today on my personal mail (and not PDF or Letter on mycic) with the subject "E0002XXXX - Ready for Visa - New Delhi"

Plus I have got 30 days for my passport to reach High Commission through VFS. VFS delhi says they would need minimum 10 working days. I hope they are faster than that though.
