No status change on ECAS though.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 28, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on March 5, 2015.

I dont think so, the current PCC validity as per the revised rules of CIC, it is valid from 6 months from the date you submit eAPR.

That was updated 23rd april, it definitely used to be 3 months, because i remember checking and rushing to get mine in before 3 months (i got it in like 3 days before)...

Given the update, that is harsh to reject because of an older one... but i guess they have to go by the rules of that day / maybe when it was submitted?

I was able to talked with their call center representative early this morning

I suspected the same, I guess the decision on his applicarion was made before the rule has been modified that lead to its refusal

Has CIC asked for a Canadian police certificate from everyone that applied from within Canada, or is it random? Should I get the Canadian Police Certificate now and upload it when they ask for it, or wait until CIC asks for it?

I appreciate any and all help.

Well, they ask for Police Certificates for all countries I've lived in for 6 months or more after I turned 18, except Canada.
