@ Tishfaith or Nyla....which courier did you use to submit your passport and supporting documents? Also, what arrangement will I need to make for the passport to be returned?

Hey Andre congrats!
I used DHL to send the passport to the Trinidad VO. I had to include a prepaid envelope for the passports to be returned, these instructions were in the PPR letter.

Did your PPR provide any details on passport delivery?

Many thanks yardflexx :D

I studied the letter and did some more research. I submit through their visa application centre. The centre handles the passport return also; so I'm good now.

Congrats andre3000!!

I used DHL too. The embassy ended up losing my photos and so I had to drive to deliver new ones and just collected the passports at the same time which worked out good for me.

All the best

Just need some advice with providing documentation regarding my Common-law partner in Jamaica
She tried for a visa but it was denied my name wasn't on the application as in Jamaica it takes 5 years to be considered common law while in Canada it's 1 year.

I don't know if this is bad but I would like to know if anyone can assist with this in case a problem does arises after an ITA is issued so i am not immediately turned down.

:( :(

She is on my insurance for my job here and we have a joint account is this enough? I saw the common law declaration, do we need like pictures together?

:(

Canada's rules are what matters, not Jamaica's. As long as you can support your claim of living together for at least 12 months then your will be ok. Every couple us different so there's no wrong or right way to prove your common law status. Include anything you have including pics, mail addressed to both of you at the same address, bills anything. We even showed our price mart membership cards.

Hi All,
I hope every1 is doing well. When filling out the EE profile is it okay to select more than one province?
What if I get ITA for Ontario can I move to another province after I receive the Permanent residence?

Looking forward for your feedbacks.

Have a blessed day.

If you receive an ITA under a provincial nominee programme you have to move to the province that nominated you. Otherwise, you can go to a province of your choice.

Hello everyone. I see everyone getting love and much help on here so I'm Hoping I can get the same.
Very new on here as well and would love some help in the express entry process.

I am considering moving to Canada but I have not made any drastic move as yet. I am 24 years old and will be graduating from UTECH in November of this year. I applied to take the English test on the 19th of November. I am interested in migrating to Saskatchewan however I am getting a bit disheartened.

I do not have a job offer and to work as a public health inspector as I am now I will need additional training in canada. I will have 1 year of work experience in January and that is when I plan to do my credentials and then apply.

1. What I want to know is how good are my chances without a job offer?
2. What are the "right" things to do to ensure my success?
3. Do you suggest I apply to any specific province (if yes how do I do so)?
4. How much money did u provide as proof of funds?
5. What was your crs score that allowed you to be selected?

Just dash out information on me please cause I'm not well informed on it. Plus I believe it's best toget info from my fellow man who have been through it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sweet thanks much for that.

One more thing is there like a "time frame" if we were to get married? Like do we have to prove that yea we have been together for a long while?

Respect on the answers!!

IF you get married there is no time frame requirement but they might question whether the marriage is one of convenience i.e for immigration purposes only. You may have to show pics from your wedding and reception and stuff like that
