I'm a bit late for the party, but anyways, I've added my own case to the table.

Hey guys, glad I found this thread.

Got pulled from the pool in the last draw, 452 points, currently living in Canada and I am very excited to apply for permanent residence. I have searched a lot about this issue I am having, well, not an issue yet, more like a question.

We got the police certificates from the Policia Federal's website, had it translated, and we were about to submit it today (CIC's website is currently down). I just realized that they do indeed expire in 90 days. What do I have to do if their are about to expire and the application has not moved forward yet?

Anybody had this issue?

Thanks!

You don't have to worry about it specially if it was issued after the last time you're in Brasil.

In any case IRCC give all PCCs a validity of 6 months from the date of issue (regardless of what states in the PCC itself).

Thanks, man. I pulled it from the website a week ago. Last time I set foot in Brazil was February, 2016.

Where did you get that info from? I heard it has to be valid until at least the day of AOR.

Cheers

Hi all,
I see, from the list above, that FSW outland process takes 2.5 to 4 months to be completed. Is it correct? Is it the average processing time?
I mean, I received my ITA on May 31st...can I have hopes to land in Canada by October or earlier?
Thanks

Look at "Who needs a police certificate?"

The second point states:

  • have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.
Since you now live in Canada then this is the one most applicable to you.

So technically from an IRCC perspective if your PCC was from March 2016 it would be ok (as you left the country in Feb 2016).

Thanks, man!

I am having some issues remembering dates of international trips. The problem is I can't remember nor have any documents whatsoever that can help me figure out the dates I travelled to Argentina and Paraguay in January 2008. It it less than 10 years, so it kinda had to be included.

I can guesstimate the dates and stuff, but I am afraid I don't get them correct and this screws up my application...

Any thoughts on this matter?

Thanks!

For completeness sake you can include ALL of your addresses if you wish.. since it's only four addresses it's not too much of a problem.

As a rule of thumb I tell people to only include addresses that you've spend enough time there to get things delivered to, so in you case mentioning the AirBNB is completely optional.

Can someone add me? aluanaguimaraes, AOR March 27 2017, FSW, outland. Thanks!
