quick question guys: once an ITA is received, what happens? It is my understanding that I can accept it by filling out an eAPR and:

1- attach necessary documents
2- take medicals

are PCC reports requested explicitly, or I need to automatically include them for any country I have lived in for more than 6 months?

Thanks,
MF

Attach necessary docs..........these necessary docs include medical test document and PCC as well.

It is STRONGLY recommended that u upload PCC from all those countries where u have lived 6 months or more(cummulative or consecutive) along with other docs and do NOT expect them to ask for it in future.

cheers,
Rrk.

Do not forget that due to technical glitch there are many who missed the last 2 draws. The number of people with these additional points will be a drawback for scores to come down. Hope they increase the number of intake this time.

Do you mean that the # of invited-application reported in CIC is incorrect?

I am at 467. I am very anxious about 33rd draw. I will drop to 462 on 15th May. So this is the last draw after which my chances are very thin. Hoping for something good!!!!

BTW, if your points drop to 462 by 15th May, you'll have just 10 days to apply. Because if your points drop after AOR, it could affect your eligibility check. Just my 2 cents.

Whats the turnaround for receiving AOR, after the ITA is received? I thought once you are through the cutoff, your score is inconsequential, especially the change caused by age.

After receiving ITA, change in points due to increase in age will not make you ineligible. However change in score due to other factors (IELTS score expiry / ECA validity expiry) will definitely result in rejection.

Honestly, it all depends on who assesses your file. From what I've seen on the forum, you should try not to age before your AOR. ::)

There is a new law over rule this hence there is no impact to you. It is by law so don't worry. You can read the below information from CIC so you will be comfortable.

An applicant may have a birthday after they receive an ITA but before they submit their e-APR. Their change in age may lower their CRS score below the lowest score in the round of invitations. It may also result in the applicant no longer meeting the minimum requirements of the FSWC and, consequently, no longer meeting the MEC, resulting in a refusal based on section A11.2.

When a change in age results in the candidate no longer meeting the MEC or having their recalculated CRS points score fall below the lowest points score in that round of invitations, officers should consider applying the public policy to exempt applicants for permanent residence from certain age-based requirements between invitation to apply and application, based on section A25.2. This consideration can result in an exemption from the refusal of an application under section A11.2.

This public policy also grants an exemption to applicants who may be refused for failing to meet FSWC program requirements when their birthday occurs between the ITA and e-APR.

Here is the link that will answer the question

Section A11.2 is over ruled by A25.2 so there is no rejection for this case. You are good

Read below section from link posted above
Exemption to section A11.2: candidates whose birthday occurs after they receive an ITA

CIC has created new CRS threshold of 470 for year 2016.

It was 450 in year 2015.

I think I need not worry about this. Because this time the scores will go up to 472 with 1000 invitations.
