Hello everyone

I am in a bit of an issue here.

I applied for FSW program, Application recieved on the 25th Nov, PER recieved 12th Feb, I haven't got any other updates on my ECAS since and not sure which office my application is transferred to.

Today I Got an invitation to apply for the express entry and I am not sure what to do. I know that If I apply via express entry then my FSW application will automatically be cancelled correct?

Kindly suggest what you guys think is the best move in this situtation.

I think you have 60 days in hand. Wait for some time, if no update then apply EE.

1. A search on google reveals that UK police clearance certificate is valid for a year. Yours should expire june 2015. Find out how long it takes to get one. If its short then you can wait till you get ITA. In my country it takes a day. And its valid for three months so I will wait.

2. I have not seen any new format so my guess will be to use the same as FSWP 2014. I don't think there is rejection on documents in EE. They have only stated the rules.

3. ECA and masters are different from job experience. Job experience needs to match the NOC. Likely that one might not be practicing what one studied in school.

Use you masters to score high Educational/ECA points and then use your work experience to get points from experience.
;) :)

Thanks for your reply.
About the police certificate, I remember reading sometime last year when I was preparing to apply for FEW, that CIC only accepts police certificate that is within 3 months. I can't remember where and how I got that information. I was wondering if there is anyone who knows about this too?

Regarding ECA assessment, I have a masters degree but the ECA I did was just for the masters certificate. Not sure if I had to do it for my BSc as well.

This has been my confusion.

Many thanks.

So my friend got an ITA but she doesn't have her police certificate of character from the FBI yet and they take three months. She wasn't expecting the ITA so soon since her score was 481 and the previous lowest score was over 700. I'm guessing the CIC doesn't give extensions on the 60 day deadline so I'm guessing it would be best to decline the ITA until she can get the PCC from the FBI. Anyone have any suggestions or experience in this situation?
