Hello everyone,

It seems that EE is more complicated or I would say it's time consuming yet processing will is way faster than the old procedures. Btw, I have some questions:

1. I have job offer letter and also a provincial nominee i fact my application is ready to send to cic for PR applications and also my work permit application is already submitted. Do u think it is better to wait till EE will open on 1st of Jan 2015 and apply under express entry or mch better if i will mail my pr application before 2015?
2. My wife dont have Ielts yet, is it necessary or required for her to have ielts? Before Cic will accept our applications?

3. Is ECA required?

Thanks for the inputs.

In theory, EE will be faster than EE. But we don't know how this will work yet, if you will have to wait until the end of January for example. Could you gather your documents so you can apply for both? That's what I would do.

For the others, you don't need IELTS or ECA from your wife. You will lose points, but you have 600 from job offer so you got plenty to spare.

I've received a CIC newsletter this afternoon. It contains the following:

"Getting Ready to Launch Express Entry
Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander confirmed on December 1st that it's one month and counting until Express Entry launches a new phase of active immigration recruitment to meet economic and labour market needs. He also highlighted that additional information was published on the CIC website to help potential immigrants and employers understand the new system, and to as a destination of choice based on a strong economy, low taxes and job opportunities.
See the news release."

Please delete duplicate entries from spreadsheet. I think I have one.

For the EE I scored 450 points out of 600 under the Core/human capital factor,Spouse factor and Skill transferability factors.
Since I didn't get 600/600,how do I apply under Express Entry? :o :o :o :o
If I get job offer/PN nomination=600 points
Total=1050/1200
EE is not for the weak but for the super strong.
Good luck people under EE.

KSA here you are
Pls come back to the forum that knows u better :P

Canadian work Experience is Experience in Canada. You can't convert it.

They count Foreign Work Experience on the CRS section.

Not fair they should consider jobs which were exempt from lmo also as arranged employment:(

I believe the requirement for LMO is only for jobs that are not exempt from LMO. An LMO exempt job would be considered valid job offer for arranged employment category even without LMO.

wow this EE is bloody tough!! I only got 344 points :(
